I doubt I'd stop playing over it...
But yeah the dancing thing is kinda annoying...
I have a male Elementalist (3rd character) and it's fun sometimes on a mission when your facing mob after mob... and your calling down fire etc...
Ya feel little bit IC... It is a fantasy game after all...
People play a game like this to feel empowered, to role play a little bit. Why bother taking the time to add something to the game that does nothing else but make you look stupid? It was funny the first time I saw it... now it's not. Then again this game is still new... they are working on things...
So maybe they took time working on stupid things like this when they should have been making sure the economy system wasn't going to be such a mess... but what ever...
Give it all time, I'm sure things will improve. Since NwN2 isn't due out till 2006 I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to keep playing and see how things go.
Dancing is one small part of the game... so small that doesn't really even bother me...
but since someone brought the topic up... figured I'd post my feelings on it.

If this was satire, it was hilarious.
If it was a serious complaint, then I am shamed to be of the same species as the original poster.

The part about the Male elementalist dance offends me!
They happened to come to me, tell me I was perfect, set me up with a whole bunch of moniters, and told me to do my thing! I myself thought the result was perfect!

HaHa, I dropped Pistoleer and Artisan to be Master Teras Kasi/Master Dancer/Scout. I spent days in the wilderness hunting for my guild then I'd come into town and dance away my fatigue. I also played bouncer in Mos Eisley once or twice.

LoL when I read the title I thought it was something serious maybe due to the new update (usually there is one or two) but lol dance moves, I didn't think people took them that seriously. I only messed about with it when I got GW first time after that I didn't really care much, maybe if i'm away or waiting i'll do a /dance.
But seriously lol i don't see a reason to leave GW coz of a dance move...that's just..unusual, I'm sure you didn't pay 50 bucks to be able to dance in a game...

What cracks me up is doing the /wave emote to a group outside of aggro range and getting yelled at by people afraid they'll see you.

Is the that japanese film "The Returner" ? I once was downloading something and this film came by accident, pretty decent, sort of like terminator to be honest except no arnie-astalavista-robot.
Maybe going off-topic here but was just curious.

I love people yelling at the OP. Cracks me up. Reminds of the one time I tried WoW and I was reading the boards and some used quote:
Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
And a bunch of leet non-carebear type people started screaming:
OMG!!!!1111 it was the japan! school ftw!
Swift must rolling in his grave.

Now that is funny!
I would like to see a break dance thro-down prior to the start of Guild vs Guild matches, it would be great everyone would have to bring their own cardboard and boombox!

Yep one and the same, I was making a time travel joke, because the OP has his head up his ass on Tuesday, July 2005, and today. Stains are the same on both days.
So when we are all DIED-ING on Monday, someone slap me and say "I telled you so!"

From Answers.com, a quick and dirty resource:
satire, term applied to any work of literature or art whose objective is ridicule. It is more easily recognized than defined. From ancient times satirists have shared a common aim: to expose foolishness in all its guises—vanity, hypocrisy, pedantry, idolatry, bigotry, sentimentality—and to effect reform through such exposure. The many diverse forms their statements have taken reflect the origin of the word satire, which is derived from the Latin satura, meaning “dish of mixed fruits,” hence a medley.
(although, satura is more aptly a sausage of mixed meat in Latin, which is inherently funnier than salad)
