Crystal Chronicles doesn't count.
The only way it is fun is if a few of your friends also have DS and the game.
Its a very bad game solo. Multiplayer is bad too, but its really fun to shout at your friends "CURE ME DAMMIT!"

I think they're both a waste of money, but if i was rich i'd pick PSP. It has nice features. DS has some fun games, but other than that its bulky and has horrible graphics... To think DS would have better things because its bigger

I completely agree, DS is intended 4 much yonger audiences, whereas u might see a 30 yr old walkin around with a PSP litsening to MP3s or watching vids. In terms of games, Devil May Cry and NFS have been quite good on PSP.

DS is too big and i suck the at the touch screen, stick this in your pocket and people will stare due to your pants having a big lump on the side
PSP... not so much a hand held gaming system as much as it is a hand held living room... i want games.. not movies, music, pictures, and an alien tracking system
Im not a fan of any new systems handheld or the others they are coming out with.. just hand me my GB SP and im happy
If a mob had me at gun point and told me to pick one, id go with the DS, because im a slave to nintendo

Both have potential but are currently crap, due to their staggering lack of actual game diversity. Each library has maybe 2 to 3 games that are great, a good amount that are mediocre, and some straight up ports. I have yet to see a -real- RPG that I want to buy on either system (Looking forward to Tales of Eternia on PSP tho) and my systems are collecting dust (except for when I break out the DS to play GBA games... how ironic).
Quality wise, PSP really astounds me as to what it can pump out. DS is pretty good, too... but PSP just owns it as far as specs. Battery life? I'll worry about that when I actually find a game I want to play for more than 2 hours..

You know I forgot to bring that up. That crap about the battery not lasting long? It's a crock of crap. I have not once used my PSP with any worries about my battery, and this is coming from a guy who plays MP3's all day and plays Coded Arms whenever he can. The deal is, you charge it every night before you go to bed, just like a cell phone, and you'll never have any trouble with the battery. Hell, if your paranoid, you can buy another batt and charge it. It's extremely easy to change the batt if you need to.

I won a $100 bet the other day when I showed someone at work I could watch a feature length movie on my Gameboy Advance SP on a 1gb compact flash. LOL He was like WTF??? lol Gotta Love Japanese Imports... Works great for Plane flights... and batery life is good too cause its all chip based. no disc to spin. and 1/3 the price of the PSP... And I can rip my own movies on to my own cards for it... so its lots better then expensive PSP movies...
