actually, i've met quite a few people online. most of them are people i play games with online. some of them are just people that i have things in common with. no relationships though.

To those who want to hang out and etc...

I have a lot of friends that have been playing games like D2, Conqueronline, Everquest and etc.. But sadly… most of them live on the opposite side of the world. Just got married last year and my addiction to on-line game have it limit. My wife hates video game. So, when i get to play.... I get sooo excited. It’s like seeing an 5 year old kids getting his first candy. I love meeting new people and hang out in the online world. So, if anyone wants to hit me up (When I get to play) my IGN: LaGar Stalker. No, I am not a stalker…. Anyway, good to know there is still good people in this forum.

Well, I actually posted what I thought was a positive response to this thread.

Unfortunately, it seems that the negative posts are the ones that get the majority of the responses from both the poster and others.

Well, I tried. Hope someone found my input a few posts back even remotely interesting. It sure as hell changed my life meeting her in GW.

I think the term "computer nerd", or "gamer nerd" is a little antiquated. The gaming community has become so diverse now that people from all walks of life are now gamers.

I, for instance, am a rancher and student. I am also in a fraternity at my college. So, it just goes to show that even "frat boys" and "hicks" play computer games!
