hmm... a lot of movies here make me teary eyed..
The Natural
Backdraft when Axe is about to fall down and Kurt had a hold of his arm.. axe said let me go.. and Kurt was like.. you go, I go.. gonna hafta watch that movie again now;x Just the look on Kurts face does it for me.
One that I haven't seen anyone mention is A Beautiful Mind with Russell Crowe at the end.
Dangerous Minds
Field of Dreams
Basically any movie where someone helps someone in need
any movie with any type of miraculous things
movies where someone dies to help rest..
like I said.. lots of them make me teary..
Movies and such didn't used to effect me when I was younger.. now that i'm old (35).. it seems like a lot more of them effect me.

I'm a guy with this guilty pleasure.
Off the top of my head:
Testament
Grave of the Fireflies
Smoke Signals
Stella Dallas
Spider Man 2
La Femme Nikita (the original film)
The Singing Detective (the BBC miniseries - not the awful film)
Spirited Away
Laputa
Kiki's Delivery Service
Flirting
A Knight's Tale
Band of Brothers
Seven Samurai
Once Upon a Time in America
What Dreams May Come
Midnight Run (when DeNiro sees his daughter)
Bridget Jones' Diary
Some Kind of Wonderful
I Want To Return To That Day (Kimagure Orange Road movie)
Monster's Ball
Jin Roh
The Dead Zone
Danny Deckchair
Jerry McGuire
Casablanca
It's a Wonderful Life
Meet John Doe
Shawshank Redemption
Insomnia
Joy Luck Club (strangely I didn't like the film that much - but I couldn't stop bawling)
A Patch of Blue
Toto les Heros
City Lights (Chaplin at his finest)
Wings (also silent)
Ikiru (omg - this one taps into a deep well of tears)
The Bicycle Thief
La Strada
Little Voice
Sweeny Todd (not the film but the original Broadway production - so maybe it doesn't count)
A Thousand Clowns
Princess Bride
Amarcord
To Live
Vivre Sa Vie
La Lectrice
El Norte
Little Big Man
A Man Called Joe

maybe this has already been mentioned, but
Life is Beautiful - Roberto Benigni
Especially the bit after he tells his son to hide and not come out for anything and then gets caught by the Nazi and marched into the corner...and you just think, "no no no no no no!" *sniff*
