Who Will Go to the college championship game? and who Will win?
I think it will be USC AND UT, with UT winning.

USC and LSU: I'll pick LSU because of the emotional edge they've got to "win big" for the hurricane victims.

I'm going with the spoiler here... I say USC is going to stumble and lose one somewhere along the line and not make it to the Championship Game. Specifically, when they take on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on October 15th. That's right baby... Irish eyes are smiling on Charlie Weis. Then you get Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl taking on the sympathetic favorite, Loiusiana State University. Oh yeah... it's going to be the most talked about BCS title game ever. The "Old School" Irish, back from the dead to return to prominence... and the LSU Tigers, fighting for the Gulf Coast. It's gonna break ratings records. It's a hard fought game, but in the end Weis writes his name in the record books and wins a national title in his first year. You heard it here first, place the bet and make a fortune!
Ok... so I don't ACTUALLY think that's going to happen <*cough it'll be USC and Texas... USC blows them away cough*>, but that's who I'm pulling for. Go Irish!

Im sorry guys. The florida gators are going to take it home this year. This may seem like an oxy-moron but with our new coach I think we will take it all. Urban Meyer led Utah to be undefeated last year and now came to us. We, the gators, are about a billion times better then Utah so thats alot more potential for him to work with. Look for the gators in the big time! Also watch them this saturday when they whoop tennessee sending them boo-whoowing to their hill-billy mothers. GO GATORS

The guy who said lsu, is way wrong. not even close. I like USC also, they're just way too good. Cal is also really good. Ummmmm but the real question is who's gonna win basketball that's what really matters. March is oh so close. And it gets closer every day. Of course I pray that Stanford will be dominant, but their football program isnt very good, and both baseball and basketball peaked in '04. Baseball and basketball were both number one in the country at the same time. basketball had a dream 27-1 season in '04, and one can only demand so much excellence before the likelihood of further victory, becomes not so likely. You're all welcome for this wonderful insight that i chose to share with you. lol. Go cardinal.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!! I'm sorry, but I despise college basketball... I can't stand it. Once it's in season it's EVERYWHERE... you can't escape it, and it is SO boring.
It amazes me how in basketball, the first 45 (pro) or 37 (college) minutes of the game fly by... but the last three take as long as the rest of the game. Timeout after timeout after timeout... until you just want to smash your television. The only good thing that happens in March as far as I'm concerned is the beginning of Spring Training MLB games.

The difference is that baseball is supposed to be a slower pace of game. Basketball on the other hand prides itself on the speed and flow of play... which grinds to a HALT at the game's most critical moments. Not exactly a selling point if you ask me.
