I would not tell a soul. I would help people little by little. Make the million into more. Why? Money is a tool to power. To have power will enable me to really help people where it counts.
Of course I would buy a spiffy computer system.

In no particular order:
1. Help the needy
2. Help myself
3. World peace
4. Revenge on my enemies
.... oh I thought you said a trillion
OK.. forget about 1 and 3

If I had a million dollars I would buy my hunny his own business so he could sit at home and play PC games and watch ESPN...
Before anyone makes fun of that, yes this is what I truly would do. I have better days when he is home........sometimes

Hmm, not shure how that would work, I doubt that you could buy a person worth a lot more than one mil.
EDIT: Well now Liang, didnt know that you were anti-Texan.

If I were unlucky enough to get a million dollars (I like living off of scholarships and grants, but being personally poor), I would tell them they picked the wrong person. If they insisted on giving it to me, I'd put it in the bank and never touch it. When I die (of boredom, not old age), I will not have any survivors or benefactors, so the state can take it, and I'll never have had to deal with it. Except to pay the IRS interest for dividends (I have a money-market account :/). In that case, I guess I would need to start a shell corporation.

This is why GW is so much simpler, when disaster strikes in GW we can just go BACK to PRE-SEARING. Wouldn't it be much easier to go to pre-disaster USA. Oh wait in that case we would have to go back before the Bush administration.

Not likely. Apparently many folks think 1 million is much stronger than it really is. Nowadays, if you're a millionaire, you probably wouldn't even be considered substantially wealthy.

about 800k of that million can get you a new liver. That includes post-transplant care as well as the procedure itself. That leaves you with 200k to drink yourself to oblivion .... it can be done...
