But I am still going to buy it because I prefer the games on XBox to the other consoles, but only when the price drops... a lot.

I think I might get the revolution. The thought of being able to download all my favorite old games intrigues me.

The Revolution or PS3, but I might say the PS3 because Sony has been pretty stable with the PS2 and did not have much problems. Their games were good and online playing was free. The Revolution will be very interesting because of the new controller and how you are going to use it when playing the games.

From what I have seen, the revolution is less a game console and more a arcade machine. The controller just disgusts me.
If I get any, it will be the xbox 360. It is supposed to have a cheaper starting price (I read in a PSM magazine that it costs sony $500 to produce a PS3). Plus, I found the PS2 games boring (aside from the square-enix games).

It has to be the PS3 fro too many reasons!!
1 - WIll be cheaper, sony are better at making consoles and are stating a higher asking price now whilst xbox goes on sale, then when they come to launch the price will drop and xbox will be srewed..
2 - For those of u who didnt understand the specs PS3 is a bit faster than the xbox and much faster than the nintendo, thus better games, or least better looking games..
3- PS3 in my peronal opinion has always had the better games.
Cheers

i hate these debates, I will get all three, or if one has games that I really just done facy I wont but it.. however.
1. Sony have already statded that the Ps3 will cost a lot, IMO the Xbox 360 in comparison is incredibly cheap if you think (in the UK) a new console usually costs £300, the Premium xbox 360 is £280, so by what we have seen in the past it is cheap.
2. nintendo specs have been leaked, but un-confermed. Xbox 360 specs where leaked (and countless leaks where wrong, Also its worth considering that PS3 is still WIP and specs could change, it is impressive if it stays that way though.
3. How can you say it has better games, have you played game son the PS3, Xbox 360 and Revolution ?
Anyone with any sence will buy the ystsem that has the games they want, not just because of the badge on it.

PS3, if any. Really the consoles are going to be way too pricey for me. I'd rather buy a GeForce 7800GT with that kinda money.
Besides, I'm not a fan of that Revolution control system. Swinging a remote around is kinda...ridiculous looking.
