The way I figured it... it was an MMO, and it was Final Fantasy. How could I go wrong?

The problem was it wasn't final fantasy... it just took a bland MMO and slapped some Final Fantasy words slapped on. When you start out you have no idea what to do. The basic setup isn't even WASD, its "click to move". After figuring out how to edit that, I walked around town for about an hour until I used the almost worthless map system to find my way outside. Outside, I manged to kill enough enemies to reach level 2. About this time, I realized I didn't have a single quest or anything to show me what to do. I had no idea where I was going or what I was supposed to be doing... and I just decided to cancel my account. In my month-long trial I tried all 3 factions, 3 different races, and 3 different jobs.

Final fantasies just stopped being good after 9, 10~ was downhill

Well, seeing as there were only two real Final Fantasies, I don't know how you can make that assumption. Especially considering 10 is regarded as one of the best by most people.

10-2...well, should never have been made.

Besides, claiming FFs after 9 were bad completly ignores the fact that Final Fantasy 8 was terrible.

Incorrect, they've made it like KOTOR.

Real time would be more like Zelda/Kingdom Hearts.

FF11 should have been named Final Fantasy Online.
