enigmatics is the perfect example of the human condition. he PRESUMES that animals don't have feelings, society and language simply because they are different.
This is exactly the same as what the whites thought when whey first found people with different colored skin.
Humans see to have this thing. they aren't the same as us=>they are inferior.
no language? what is language? a method of communicating wants needs and warnings. information.
why do dogs bark? why do monkey go ook? why do whales make your bladder uncomfortable?
are these just involuntary spasms? i think not!
from their point of view we are a destructive and self destructive race that (in america at least) have around 30 different sounds with which they communicate information.
currency. the only reason that humans use currency is that we are so evil as a species that we need some sort of concrete way of making sure people return our favors.
why even use currency? if everyone worked for the GOOD of the species then money has no use. all other animals do this. if one is starving they will allow it to have more of the food. it is better for the species as a whole if that individual survives. we humans don't understand that. out 'intelligence' gets in the way. we would rather be overweight and someone starve to death than for us both be a bit hungry. selfishness is a uniquely human trait.
for example. the EU has sanctions in place limiting that amount of food farmers can produce. we produce too much food. we have warehouses full of wheat and corn. we have lakes of milk. costing untold millions to keep them stored and fresh.
why not give it to people who need it? why not use it to help the regeneration of Africa? no. we can't do that. no doubt it has been suggested. but the people would not like the idea of giving something away. it MUST be paid for.
so the African states can't afford it. we get no money and they get no food. remove money from this equation and the farmers can produce to the best of their abilities and the african states get the millions of Tonnes of extr that we produce.
(i'm argueing this simply because i'm bored, but i think i it is a very reasonable argument)
