And as you said... there are many ways for people to find love outside the internet, and ofcourse, thats an obvious fact.
For some people it just isnt that easy.
Maybe you are very outgoing and find it easy to just go out to some bar, meet a girl and fall in love.. For me its not.
I can't just go somewhere, meet a bunch of new ppl etc.. It just doesn't work.. + I don't like meeting all that many finns.... for reasons you can find on previous pages.
And from all the many girls I've met, I don't like a single one of them... Why not have your eyes open to possibilities like such as people over internet?
And its not like I went on the internet to 'find' love. It just happend.. I met this person.. got to know her a bit better after playing with her/conversating on msn over the last 2½ months.. and.. now Im where I am.
There really is no point for your way of taking part in this conversation if you can't realise the fact that not everyone is like you, thinks like you, and acts like you.
|
I never said anything about you knowing everything about her.
I'm not arguing with you here buddy, you can do whatever the hell you want to do, its your life. I'm just telling you this is how it is, probably 99% of people who meet online and live far away and 'feel warmth' toward each other never meet.
I don't have an easy time meeting girls either, but im not going to talk to a girl online, and settle for that. Then when you meet a girl in real life that you like, what will you do? Forget about the online girl? Or neglect the real life girl because the online one is so perfect (or atleast as perfect as you imagine her to be)? Like i said before, i've been there, i didn't have any friends when i was younger, and i met a few girls online that i had plans to meet and everything of course fell through.

No, I can accept that all that stuff is possible, but its unlikely, so why waste your time? If you're in high school, living with your parents, and couldn't afford living on your own, its highly unlikely that you're going to just up and move somewhere to be with someone. College is a possibility.
There are also possibilities that this person is just RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing with him, and has no intrest whatsoever, and is just doing it cause their real life bf isnt giving her enough attention. She could also be like 5 years younger than she says she is, girls these days are looking older and older.

Its better because you can actually have a physical relationship with someone if you meet them in real life. I'd perfer that over phone sex or cyber sex.
There aren't a whole lot of people that have done it compared to the people who have tried and failed.
I know of one couple that did meet. A british guy and an american girl. "Dated" online for like 3 years, the guy moved to the US to live with her, had sex every day for like a month and never talked to each other again. Infact they hated each other when they met, but they were just both sexually frustrated.
Who's to say shes not with another guy right now?

I don't know if its easy.. more like lucky i think. It usually happens when you aren't looking & when you least expect it.

Talk about flogging a dead horse. Being biased clouds your opinion.
I've had three relationships that have been from meeting people online, and they've been long distance.
I have no trouble picking up guys, I can go down the pub, find a bloke, be mates, date them.. whatever. I prefer to meet guys over the net though.
I get more fullfillment from meeting people online than I do meeting them in real life. I trust their intentions more.
You obviously have no luck when it comes to meeting people online, but will you stop making all these comments like "She's just fcuking with him" and that people are lying because it's really rude... and also

Sorry for saying this girl could be lying to him completely, because that is the biggest problem with meeting people online. If he can't handle the truth then he shouldn't be talking to people about.
I've seen enough online relationships that haven't worked to have an understanding of them.
3 online long-distance relationships? Huge waste of time IMO.
I think its funny that you guys keep attacking my opinion like im going to change it or something just because of 1 person who claims to have had decent online relationships.

Here in lies your problem, you should almost never have a long term relationship based physically, that is just Lust pure and simple. You should start from the heart and work outwards, I learned that the hard way and it only took me the last several years to realize that.
