Lesson to be learned plus scammer names
I'm sure many people has had this happen to them at one point or another in this game - getting scammed out of gold for any reason at all. Case in point, most if it happens to be for runs for either missions or places. This just happened about a minute ago to a couple of lads in my group for the Elonas Reach Mission. We all got a runner for 1k ea to run this mission. Our reasons are our own. Mine - I just happened to get tired of trying to beat this mission over and over again (5 times specifically). Anyway, these lads paid up front, which is a big no no. So basic rules of common sense for future readers:
1) If you are going to be run ANYWHERE for ANYTHING, never EVER pay up front. 2) Try and negotiate a place to pay, preferrably at destination and if that is not agreeable, than the at the last portal nearest the destination. Here is the name of the scammer for this mission in particular: Legendar E So if you see this person, give him a HI-HO Scammer welcome  .

Hi I just got scammed so I'm posting a thread with his name in it so people will hate him, but instead I'll disguise it as a thread with good advice that nobody has ever heard of on ways not to be scammed. Wow I'm so smert.

your asking to get scammed if
A. you pay up front (when buying run) B. Get paid at end (this when running people) always compromise, unless they already have a place in the middle or during to pay for what you are getting/giving |
