mind trap for the insane
i just spent the last four hours making this new coding, since my internet is too slow to support any major games, only web browser
ALSO, aside from decoding the message you have to decode the entire alphabet in the chart at the end of this post, and pm it to me
HERE IS THE MESSAGE YOU HAVE TO DECODE:
11010|1110|111|10011 - 110|1101|100 - 11001|1|10011 - 10101|11000|1111|1110 - 1110|1|1001|1100|100|1001 - 101|100|1111|1|11000|10011|100 - 110|10000 - 1|11|11 -
11010|1110|110|10011|100 - 1100|1|1001|1101 -
1101|11000|10101|101|100|1001|10011
hyphens (-) indicate spaces between words
linebreak (|) indicates a spacing between each letter in that word, so you don't get confused
same rules as last time but here they are again
1. If you think you have the answer then PM me!
2. I will give 1 clue/hint a day
3. Fill out the entire chart below, and PM me with it, and i will tell you how many you got right, ONLY, i will not say anything else
4. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR SPAMMERS, IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO POST ANYTHING RELEVANT OR RELATED TO THE CODE, THEN DO NOT POST AT ALL
to win you must decode the message and fill out this chart with the corresponding letters that they are, and PM ME, i do not want you to ruin it for others
let the insanity begin!
EDIT: no the chart is not in order so
Y and Z are the freebies, and also because they do not fit on my quadricube, i call it that because it is a cube, with 4 panels on each side, each side is one of the big squares on the chart

Man, even with the freebies the alphabet is still hard to decode. Then again, the freebies aren't in the code at all...

this code has 4 layers, the first being the binary code -> number code -> alphabet code, the fourth layer is actually the first, but you don't have a handy dandy quadricube
forgot first clue so
10/22/05 - the first layer, is binary code

Ahh! My mind has gone into spontaneous zombie mode from trying to comprehend this. Now I need an asprin. Guess I need to start decoding.

This mind trap is too complicated. Here are some good mind traps:
1. Prove Fermat's last theorem:
x^n + y^n = z^n ; z > 2
I have discovered a truly remarkable proof which this margin is too small to contain. - Fermat
2. Solve the 3 geometric problems of antiquity.
(a) Construct a square equal in area to a circle using only a straightedge and compass;
(b) Given the length of an edge of a cube, construct a second cube having double the volume of the first, using only a compass and a straightedge;
(c) Trisect an arbitrary angle into three equal angles using only a compass and a straightedge.
3. Integrate the normal distribution equation.
4. Prove the general Riemann hypothesis:
"Neither the Riemann zeta function nor any Dirichlet L-series has a zero with real part larger than 1/2."
5. Prove that the number 10 is a solitary number
6. Prove that no odd perfect numbers exist.

actually its fiendishly simple, and that is also why i post a hint/clue a day, to further progress the solving of it

Firstly it's not binary code, binary code, as Fubar already let us know, is different. If it WAS binary, we wouldn't have to decode it on our own. What you have there is just strings of ones and zeros you chose to represent letters, but that doesn't make it binary by any means.

It's not numbers, and it's not letters, and since there's not much else you can do anything with in that coding binary wise, I'm going to have to say it's not binary, period.

A. its binary
B. its numbers
basically to get the end result binary i took each number and then switch'd it from base ten (deci) to base two (binary)
fubar your right, but i changed that so it is different from normal alphabet, oh if life were that easy

So it's not the ACTUAL binary, it's just numbers that YOU took, and assigned to represent a character.

He didn't make it so people could solve it. He made it so people could TRY to solve it, and then possibly through extreme amounts of clues and outside help, be able to get it.

binary code when applied to mathematics is base two, i obviously changed it because of what fubar saw, and assigned each letter a number, which i then changed from base ten to base two,
pie please stop trying to argue over this, especially when i know what I did for MY pwn mind trap
pie, like i said after zehly's post
it is fiendishly simple and that is what makes it impossible to solve

If you'd rather, I could go ahead and form one on my own, and see if YOU could solve it. Of course you know how the hell you did it, YOU MADE IT.
I suppose what I'm questioning more is, why you'd post it if you KNOW it's impossible to solve.
