Grr.... "he who is not to be named" is the biggest JOKE in baseball. He's a blight on the sport and needs to just walk away before he disgraces one of the greatest records in all sport.

I never singled him out, but he is by far the worst offender. And I've disliked him for years, as a Diamondback fan it comes with the territory.

He is the FACE of the problem, the most prominent example of the problem. Is he the only offender? Absolutely not. McGwire and Sosa and Palmeiro and countless others are just as guilty. I said the same thing about McGwire when he broke Maris' record as I've said about Bonds.

If he has a SHRED of integrity, he would walk away from the game right now. With no concrete evidence against him, he's a shoe-in for the Hall anyway. Why disgrace the sport more by ruining one of its most cherished records?

im a HUGE sports fan but i hate baseball lol.. i have never ever watched a whole baseball game.. due to boringness. BUT, when i was on guildwars, bout a week before the world series, people(the kind that talks ALOT about sports, and always have their facts wrong or they dont know what they are talking about, like the people i saw few sec ago in the super bowl- who will win this year thread) were saying that the white socks suck and they will never win lol
