Be brave, pull out the happy face transfer, get a friend to try it on, have lots of nail varnish remover to hand (and bandages and a phone to call the ambulance just in case) and just DARE TO DO IT! I don't think you understand what I mean by "getting your nails done". We're not talking about a bit of filing and painting. I'm talking about acrylic nails.
They use electric power buffers and filers (yes like the ones in DIY shops) and then they attach a plastic fake nail to the tip of yours. Then they cut them, file them, sand them, buff them. THEN comes the acrylic. A flat brush dipped in a solution then dipped into a pink powder. Dobbed onto your nail they expertly painted over your nail, the fake nail and the join. (This stuff is so potent they have to wear masks.)
After they're dried a stencil is put over for the painting. (I have french manicure only so just a white tip). Then nail varnish to finish it off. There's nail protectors and loads of sanding and god knows what in between all those steps. A whole set takes about an hour and a half to do.
Then you go back for "Infills". As your nail grows, you'll need new acrylic put on to fill the gap. Complicated and expensive.. but worth it. They last a few weeks without needing infills and they look brilliant.

Our money goes to EVERYTHING!
Recently I purchased Mrs Dood a Prada purse. Over half off on bluefly.com. It amazes me how expensive that stuff is....well quality always is. The purse is hand stiched. For the price of that purse I could have got a 7800 vid card.

My money goes into my domain, my music equipment, my gaming, and the rest is hoarded for when western civilization crumbles to the cactuses, and money of any kind is more valuable than cheese (i'm stretching here on purpose lol).
I save my money, so that when I really want something, It is a non-issue, and I possess that thing. Kinda like Baal. There, is that thing, and I WILL have it! :P

Where does the MAJORITY of your money go?
For me, most of my money at the moment goes on nights out. Mostly I mean the ACTUAL night, but for girls the spending for a night out can begin many many days before. For example:
---
Sunbeds - £3
Nails - £15- £25 (Once a fortnight)
New Top/Accesories - £10- 30 (Not every night)
Cigarettes - £5
Taxi - £10
Drink - £20
Club Entry - £5-£10
---
Tada, that can all add up. It's such a waste tbh though. Money going on pleasure and you never get the money back. What I WILL say, is I'm paying out money for good good memories.
My dad has been taking a lot of holidays recently and he said to me, "Jen, can I give you some money cos I feel bad I've been going away a lot and you haven't." I said, sure, but I don't want it literally pissed away on stuff. So now the luxeries I can't afford on my measly "salary" will be paid for by daddykins.
Horse Riding - £10
Sunbeds - £20 (per fortnight)
Petrol - £God Knows
WoW sub - £I don't read the small print
Trips out (like the cinema) - £10
This is all stuff I used to be able to pay for myself before I had to leave my job. God, I used to earn about £150 a week.. I wannit baaaack!!!
Edit:
-----
Doesn't matter if you don't have a job. Just asking, What is it you spend MOST of your Money on?
|
Suntanning costs you only 3 euros? wow, It costs me like 20$ a session...... >.<

Not euros, pounds. I get 60 minutes for £20 and you can have 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 minutes at any time untill your 60 minutes is up. Plus there's free parking outside AND they're the best sunbeds in Europe.
Euros...lol, Be'ave. We don't "DO" Euros here.

Wow. My husband works his behind off cuz I lost my job. We have a kid to support too. Thats why Im playing a free game and eating mostly top ramen. We have rent, bills, gas, car insurance, and we attempt to have enough left over for food. Last time I bought *new* (not 2nd hand) clothes was about 3 years ago. Value Village is our friend. My computer is on a stool, keyboard on another in front of it, and I sit on a milk crate with a pillow on top. I only *wish* I had money to go to the bar.
