Anime Conventions FTW
I was just at an anime convention this weekend, and I have to say, OH YEAH!!! I loved it It was a pseudo-elitist convention held in MA; we communicate through e-zine. The name of the con is Animesia.
I'll post some funny shit that happened, in the mean time, lets here your anime convention stories and such!!

Anime Conventions... I laugh at them. People dressing up as anime characters is just too funny.

Male crossplayers frighten me, especially the Sailor Neptune/Saturn/Pluto ones. Otherwise, cosplayers are a pretty mellow bunch as long as you don't breath a negative word about their character.
I met my current girlfriend at AX, so I'm not complaining.

Ok so here's one of the little stories.
About twenty or so of the girls at the con decided to make me their cult leader (go figure). My first order of business was gaining entry into the gaming rooms. You see, for some strange reason, guys feel like they have been handed a copy of Soul Cailbur 3 by God, and that it's a guys' game. No, no, no. They wouldn't let the girls in.
A side-story:
We need nerf guns. We had to go to Wal-Mart (you know, the store that Satan gave us to combat churches?). It was about 10 at night. We were all dressed up in anime or emo costumes. Well, people start looking strangely at us, and so we decided to give them something to look at. We went dancing around Wal-Mart, running up and scaring customers, and being all-around punks. Fortunately, we were all able to get our nerf guns before they kicked us out. I think they put up a bounty on my head in there for some of the stuff I incited!
Back to the story:
So we bust into the Gaming Room 1 armed to the teeth with Nerf guns and squishy balls and silly string, and we let them have it. They ran out like little girls *grin*. They were so embarassed, while at the same time so mad, and we told them if they give up the room, no girl at the con would speak with any guy at the con. That shut them up.
Oh, by the way. For the soul-calibur 3 tournament, out of 51 guys and 13 girls, all guys were eliminated by the second-to-last round. And then the guys had the nerve to get all horny when it was two girls fighting. I lost in the 3rd to last round, but it was still fun!!

Sounds like someone had the blast.
I don't enjoy the part when you go into walmart and scare the customers...
But kicking the ass out of those 'guys' with nerf guns is priceless.
Nerf is like the lowest of the low! HAHAHAHa, Stupid boys.
