Holy Moses (Thompson Single Shot Center Fire)
I've had my share of TSSC's, but this one takes the cake. If I'm right, it's a "Hunting SSK," a custom barrel configuration to support wildcat rifle rounds. It's made by some guy who has hunted all big African 5 game (Including Hippo, Rino and Elephant.)

Talk about gettin' "Blown away."

Not even an 8 guage industrial has anywhere NEAR the recoil or joules of anything the SSK fires. Infact, a 20 gauge has more recoil than an 8 simply because of how narrow the round is, more direct.

Man, you could've been riding a Rhino through town while singing the Star Spangaled Banner with a jet thruster on your ass - still nowhere near. Sure, you could've gotten thrown off, but this guy in the video looks like he knew what he was doing (notice how he held it rather far from his face - he knew he was going to get his ass kicked). If a guy that big with those arms couldn't hold on to the thing.. Just imagine o_O

The calibur is anything from a .22 to a .455 Thompson. The Thompson can be just about anything, since you just change the barrel. Since the the recoil is so big, It's gotta be a Hunting SSK, which ranges in VERY high caliburs - from .334 Lupia to wildcats like the .565 Supreme Rhino Stomper. All I can tell you is that it's no less than say a .308, but even a .308 would do that. The length all depends on the round, so I couldn't give you a direct answer. There is no magazine - it's a single shot falling block pistol. Muzzle velocity, again, depends on ammo, so I couldn't tell you for sure unless I had someone tell me the real calibur.

I went through and paused it at that part, the gun flies back and bounces right off his face. You'll notice as he turns to look at the camera afterwards there's a relatively large red bruise where it hit him.

Huh, I never noticed that. Guess he wasn't too smart after all. If I were him, I wouldn't be using a round that big anyways, BUT, if I was that stupid, I'd atleast be smart enough to move it a wittle to the left away from my face.
