Im thinking of getting an 25 inch or bigger HDTV TV.. anyone know where(website/store) i could get one for a good bargain?

Well in my opinion....get a Sony! A Sony WideScreen HDTV. The HS420 is their cheapest model. I would get the 30" X955. However the HS420 30" is the cheapest one. I have seen them around $700.00. Nothing beats Sony in CRT TVs....nothing! I own a HS510...it is not made anymore...but it looks fantastic! I also had it calibrated by a guy by the name of Greg Loewen. He is known for traveling the country calibrating peoples HD systems. I was stunned at how much better my picture quality was after he tweaked it.

Sony CRTs have long been the industry standard ... but, I must say, the competition has been getting quite good - some even argue that some of the competition is arguably better in some respects.

Maybe so...Still nothing beats the Sony XBR960! Oh how I wished I waited for that one to come down in price. The XBR960 and the XBRX955 have the Super Fine Pitch tube. It is the best tube ever made to this point. Mine is the next one down. The HS510 is second to those. The HS420 is below mine. I personally never liked the HS420 because it doesn't have a built in sub woofer...and they cut corners on some other things too. The XBR's have a built in tuner as well. That is worth it right there. Mine does not. However, my cable box is HD. I have become a TV snob. I cannot watch any movies now unless they are widescreen.

EDIT: Also the next greatest Tech to come out will be the SED (Surface-conduction Emission) display. Thin as a Plasma/LCD and picture quality of a CRT.

I got a 30'' Toshiba from Sears for about $700. It's CRT, not LCD or plasma... and it weighs a frickin' TON, but it works good and Toshiba is a pretty good brand. It should last me until LCD/Plasmas hit a more reasonable price.
