I wish I had my own language...I am still trying to figure out this American English one...
I am fortunate...I have had many of those. That's why I had to get a digital camera!

Only way you can understand the American English language now is by filtering out "Ebonics," AKA white kids saying "Whatup Dawg homie-G playah." Once you mellow such nonsense to the sound of a yapping dog, you can manage understanding the basic needs of the individual.
Example:
Before filtering:
"Yo home-boy, hollah for your dollah while I check my crib with some peeps up in da hissle."
After filtering:
"Hello. Please put a bullet in my head, for I am of no use to socity and will only plauge the youth of the planet with such filth of language that Chaucer will turn ass up in his grave."

I would certainly give more credence to Person B. The proper use of grammar and punctuation lends greater credibility to a debate, more so than "forum speak".

It's only a game to me, I never give anyone that much credence.

while it's never that bad (at least, when i take a look around), it's still pretty terrible. i hate it when people think they're "black" just 'cause they have the "skillz that killz" and things like that.

Hm, where I come from the state language is hillbilly. Where a yawl refers to a group of people and the average person couldn't recognize proper grammar if it hit him on the face.

I hate it when intelligence is currently measured by blinga blinga and how many females you have basted.
Whatever happened to the quality of one's work?
Oh yeah, that is so 1786.

There's a huge difference between slang and really bad grammer.
Two thing to consider though-
For some people the english language is not thier main language. I appreciate the fact they participate. If this was a german speaking forum, as an example, I'd be lost.
Some of us are human and make mistakes. Last time I looked we aren't being graded.

Face it, it has nothing to do with anything other than ego. Those people believe they are somehow smarter than the average bear, because they can type \/\/oo+
All it tells me is they rode the little bus to school (and still do in many cases)

I don't mind all that bad grammar and spelling. It sets a low enough standard to enable a non-native speaker like to come across as an Oxdridge professor.

You do realize that list you made contains the MOST COMMON mistakes people make with the english language. Most people use these words improperly.
Aren't you being a bit anal?

You know if you are gonna live in a glass house, don't give people stones to throw. You made a few errors yourself in your reply.
What was that about using proper english again?

Here's what bugs me...
You've got all these people calling for proper grammar, when half of them don't know what the hell they're talking about themselves! If you're referring to people who can do better and just don't 'cause they're lazy...people who shorten words like "you" to "u", or "you're" or "your" to "ur", then I can understand that. Keep in mind, though, that not everyone was raised with computers, not all of them have gone through typing classes, not all of them have a clue what the **** they're doing. I type decently enough, but that's because I thought it was important to know how to do shit properly. I know some fine people, though, who can't spell worth a shit. I'm not going to bitch at them because they RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up every now and then. I don't see why the hell you'd bitch about the words listed in the OP anyways, at least peoples are taking the time to type it out! Who cares if it's the right one or not?!
Personally, I probably type a lot faster than I speak normally, so I get ahead of myself relatively often. More often than not, when I make a typo in a post, it's not a spelling error, it's that I put an entirely different word in place of what I meant, or even that I wrote a sentence twice!
Who gives a shit how people type. It shouldn't bother you all that much. As our good friend Dan already pointed out: it's the content that matters, not their spelling.
