I agree! The Kids can suffer with their PS2. Nothing is more enjoyable then adding an upgrade your PC..or buying a new game box!

I'll just get myself a Revolution and M$ and $ony can rot in hell for all I care - At least Nintendo is still making games that are fun and enjoyable to play. As opposed to all the gore-fests and military shooters that cater to the teenage crowds ("did you see that explosion, dude? it sure has more particles in it than the explosion in last months generic shooter!") on the PS3 and X360..

As for what's better, I guess it depends on what game types you like. Most of the GW players will probably prefer PS3, because PS2 was way, waaaaaay better than Xbox in the way of RPG's...

But then again theres the fun of yelling BOOM! HEADSHOT! across the little headset thing

Lets put it this way.

I go to the store, and look at the games. They've got a one-section wall for gamecube games, a one-section wall for xbox games, and two entire walls for ps2 games. In the consoles before that, a SHITLOAD of ps1 games. Only xbox game that ever appealed to me was the ORIGINAL halo. None of that Halo 2 bullshit which really, really sucked. And I've got the original halo for PC, and since there's only like 3 exclusive xbox only games after halo...I'm going to have to go with a system with, you know, a gigantic game library as opposed to a system that would've failed if it not for one game.

PS3 ought to be wonderful.

Play the best games folks. It doesn't matter what system has them, or what developer made them. Just play the best games.

apparently the PS3 may have some trouble as many of the most reliable Playstation games producers have said that it will be too difficult to produce games for it. they made it over powered. kinda like the current XBox.

i will most definately be getting the 360. one reason. halo 3.
what more do you need?
i will likely get the PS3 as well in due course. but its release date is strange and annoying.
the revolution? well we'll have to wait and see.

while the stats seem to be in favor of the PS3 that is because Sony carefully looked at where their console beats the 360 and buffed it up. a lot of the operations per second of the 360 were not counted (because they were seemingly irrelevent to gameplay) but sony made sure they counted them.

i just prefer the FEEL of the XBox. it has my kind of games, my kind of controls. my kind of console.

Halo is a pc port and Halo 2 is overrated. What are "your kind of games?" Are they games which are multiplatform and are on nearly every single console? As far as I know, the only high rated game that is an xbox exclusive is Ninja Gaiden and Halo2.

Who cares? Consoles are paperweights, in my opinion. A PC is far more versital, easier to use, and can do a hell of a lot more in terms of gameplay, graphics, power, speed, modification, patches, and just features such as any PC.

like i say before.. xbox 360 is all about graphic power not games. I dare you to look at all the upcoming xbox360 games and tell me how fun or how much depth is will have. Most of their upcoming launch title is all first person shooters (is it me or all console game top selling games is either FPS or something that involved hijacking people cars and killing things?)

But i'll personally get PS3 (not a fanboy) but i just didn't get into the hype of xbox 360. Sure it has better graphic but come on with a killer rig for computer, you should be able to get the same graphic output as xbox 360.

Nice posting guys. So that .. at least half of you will get xbox 360. Wonder how many will return it and create a thread here saying "OMG Xbox 360 suxor!"

I personally prefer PC games. My husband has a (hacked) Xbox and will probably buy the next gen of Xbox just to see how much hacking he can do with it.
