hmph it seems that you're turning this into a flame war... DON'T, or better still don't reply in anger over it. Look at SOT's posts a couple of pages ago to see both arguments clarified. and move on to other topics further from this thread.

I have managed to get to level 36, but now the spiraling amount of gold for skills is annoying me... but I expected that to happen though. I now have ~180 mining and ~135 Blacksmithing so I'm getting there... slowly

I have no idea why you'd say that. Im NOT replying angrily, nor am I flaming anyone... If you would, pm me an explaination of how it is Im doing these things.

sorry, well each to their own.

anyway, why I actually chose it over Guild Wars temporarily is that I can get bored with the grinding of getting skill points with no other progression (I got it the first day it came out) and I managed to kill the two big story bosses (Glint and Khilbron the Undead Lich) and I'm not a PvP guy either so it eventually made me bored. I did like it so that you can rejoin after sometime without the need of payment.

I do enjoy WoW more however, although some may say "is it the case of graphics over gameplay?" Nope... "Can you level up to 20 with less than 400 quests to do for skill mastering?" WoW has a lot more skills (though differences aren't too radical from all classes) but the amount of quests and level areas to train in I prefer it, as it has more lifespan and the amount of items you can get is way more in comparison to GW.

Yes, I know the monthly fee sucks, but in my opinion GW is alright but I have found a new heart with World of Warcraft (Europe).

And, sorry if I caused a bad post I just have... problems in life and I do need to get out more as well, but I'll try and be peacekeeping as much as possible from here on in.

By the way... I didn't tell you lot that I claimed my first AvH kill: level 35 against a 37 Troll Rogue?

As for wow, I have now managed to somehow get my night elf druid to 17 in under 3 days without playing hours on end.

The mage is on hold.

The warrior is about to pop 50.

im so happy, i got from 3 bars to lvl 51 to 2 bars into lvl 52 in 4 hours. ungoro is the best place to quest/grind with a group no question about it. i dropped my lvl 300 mining for enchanting but i use it to only disenchant items for mats that i sell on AH. i beat a lvl 53 ret/holy pally when i was lvl 50, i didnt use any of the special warrior skills (recklessness,retaliation,shield wall or watever its called) i critted his ass to hell. so fun bein dual wield warrior. everyone knocks me in game thinking im an idiot, dual wielding as a warrior.

Well, being that this thread has gone in circles time and time again I think it's time for a lock. There's more than enough discussion mixed with some bickering in this thread to give anyone a somewhat decent (and biased) opinion on WoW. And being that we don't want to keep watch over this on a regular basis to clear out flames and other such nonsense, there's no sense in keeping it open any longer. If you want to talk about the same things over and over again despite this being closed, PMs will work. Or maybe the more logical place, WoWGuru.
