Also another tip, mangle your email addresses so that its harder for trollers to harvest and spam you with.

Previously, it capped off at 20 invites, I think, or that might have just been for accounts of a certain age. Then, 50, then 99. I don't think they've managed to get quite as much of a market share of email (for data-mining purposes) as they wanted to, because it's insane. I've got 3 gmail accounts, one that got auto-subscribed by a really annoying website and is currently used as a spoof to send viral email (nothing I can do about it, the emails come from elsewhere and the header is changed), one that I use to direct subscriptions to websites to, and one I use for more personal interests (emailing friends and the like), and all 3 of them are capped out on gmail invites.
And this is more of a norm than the exception. A few people on each internet community can usually provide enough gmail accounts for everyone else.

PieXags also has a couple hundered gmail invites as a whole. For the record I think it's more like 2.5GB of storage space now as it's always increasing.

Yes, it is 2.5 Gig now. I also have 200 invites between two accounts. I love Gmail and recommend it to everyone, but I think they went a little overboard on their estimation of consumer interest.
