You upgrade from GF 1.0 to GF 2.0 with GW compatible service pack.

You explain to her that its a hobby, and that you'll try to spend more time with her, even though you probably won't, but you'll get your moment of zen. xD

Buy another copy of GW, get another PC and play together.
Tell her its your hobby and its better than you doing drugs or killing people.
Hurry up and beat the game a few dozen times, then it'll get boring.
Strike a deal: agree to place less till the expansion comes out.
Find a girlfriend who likes games and stop messing with this one.
Or, fullfill her needs first, then play. A happy GF cant bitch about your hobby.

Let her try GW with her own character that she creates once she's addicted you get her a PC and her own copy of GW and you spend time together playing GW, My wife and I do and quite a few of our guildmates have gotten thier RL mates into GW and our guild. A couple/family that play together stay together.

Dump her, she's replaceable, and if you can't dump her, dump the game.

I am going to have to agree with echo and TehTomato. Beat her with a sack of oranges() and dump her. If she can't understand that you like to do stuff besides seeing her then it just won't work. Unless you are playing GW when you are suppose to be seeing her. Course if you see her everyday and you have no time to play GW cause you are always with her then i could understand you playing when you are suppose to see her... so really i have no idea what to do. i guess just sit her down and talk to her about it.

Try to get her to play it as well - She might like it
If not, sit down and explain that it is just a game and you enjoy playing it. As long as your not canceling plans with her just to play she really shouldn't be mad.
If you try letting her play and she doesn't like it, and she still doesn't understand then you may need to move on, Im going to agree with Ensabah, If you find a girl (or in my case a guy ) that plays it, then you will probley be very happy.

I guess I'm lucky that I married someone who likes to game as well. LOL. She does, however, keep me accountable of how much time I spend on the computer playing games so that I don't neglect my other responsibilities, which include spending time with the wife. I'm not sure what kind of GF you have but if you find that she calls you every waking moment and demands your attention all the time, then she's probably co-dependant and you need to sit down with her and set healthy boundaries and explain that you need "your own time" to do things you want to do. Now on the other hand, if you play 24/7 and never see your GF etc, you should probably cut down. There should be balance. It's not a bad thing to play as long as you have your priorities straight.

Exactly...Moderation is key. We are taking about a girlfriend? Correct? Wait until you are married. Things change real quick...

I dunno my GF doesn't like it and we've been together for almost 3 years. She tried to play it but ended giving all her stuff away to people that would cheat her out of her stuff every time she got something good. So I just play at work now. So basically your screwed 0.o

In all seriousness, get her involved in games. Hook her on The Sims, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Pirates, things like that.
That's what I did with one of my gf's. Eventually she was always at me to help her get the latest game. It was awesome. (we broke up for other reasons)
