Help Me choose a Keyboard
OK, im too lazy to try & win the competition.
So, i was gonna just buy a new keyboard, to ease the pain of loosing my job.
Initially i was gonna get a Zboard... but upon inspection of the OCUK website i found The Logitech G15.
So check this linkage and tell me which u think i should spen my hard earned money on and why?
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...yboards_2.html
Its between the Zboard & the logitech one... what dya think?

Neither - I got a Saitek Eclipse. GET ONE. Lights up with clear keys - very useful, very functional.

Second that, Saitek's gaming boards are killer for insomniacs and are sexy-quiet!

I use a Saitek Eclipse, loverly feel to it and nice and shiny. The only downside(and it's a biggy) is that the paint on the keys is starting to wear off

well I have a Saitek and I hate it in GW.
If you try to hold down the left control key scanning and rotate your chr
with the arrow keys it won't work...left...you can only hold down the control with the right arrow...THIS sucks big time
This combo is not the end of the world but shows that saitek can't do multi key inputs like most of the keyboards can.

Something must be wrong with your drivers - works fine for me. Just your stardard USB keyboard with some nice advantages.

I wouldn't spend on a fancy looking keyboard, I don't even see my keyboard nor look at it.
But if I was to buy a fancypancy overexpensive keyboard over my well served generic one, it would be this

That's like the ULTRA generic keyboard o.o Infact, that looks like something that would be given as like a standard issue if we got taken over by aliens or something. The Milk would be labeled Das Milk, with nothing else on it, the water would be labeled Das Water, with nothing else on it, and the keyboard will be labeled Das Keyboard, with NOTHING else on it.

'n thats the way I like it
Never been a fan of windowed computer cases, cold cathode tubes and other junk such as that. My current keyboard, one of the Microsoft-branded ones has these funky media/internet/whatever keys. Times I've used them? Zero. They are just out of reach, and my global hotkeys do the same thing much faster. Just have this because my previous one had partially died and was annoying to type on, and this one is only keyboard they had.

the only keyboard you should be using is a logitech g-15, there is no substitute!
dont buy saitek, nice to look at but the keys eventually start to stick! i have one it sucks!
and the numbers wear off, cant key bind, cant multi key use! overall pretty solidly built just needs further improvements on the keys!

Again, I don't get it o_O is mine special or something? This is my second Saitek and I've NEVER had a problem with either of them. Ever. Did you not clean it or somethin'? And I mean, like take out the screws, take the top half with you and dunk it in warm water? 'cause that's what you're supposed to do with ALL keyboards. You'd be disgusted if you saw the junk they catch.

Hmm I'd clean my keyboard if I were confident in the fact that I could put it back together. Which I'm not.
