True Xue Yi Liang....
I was just thinking about the people that dart in and out of traffic at high speeds. It "looks" like they are playing Grand Theft Auto. However, there is no God Mode though...hehe

I think the most important thing i have learned is that most mmo's fps's and rpg's are gonna make me mad enough to throw a five hundred dollar monitor out my office window then have to think up a reson it is in ten thousand pieces so staples will honor the warrantee.

-In the world, there are many ledges/platforms that really seem that you can jump onto them. You cannot.
-In the world, some stairways, you cannot climb them.
-Never expect a journey to be one of those usual happy ones. In the end you're fighting some hellish evil. (Many mario games these days)

I learned that I cannot walk up any grade exceeding 45 degrees.
I learned that a monk's life is not peaceful at all - rather it's full of violence and abuse from people wanting to be healed, or from the enemy who wants to target you relentlessly.

That's funny because in my last game, I learned that I could climb anything at any angle without the need for any climbing gear... just used my own two feet. (SWG)

I learned always at the end of most games, there is a boss fight, once you kill him/her you get another boss fight with no time to heal or regen.

If all but one person you are travelling with dies, it's no big deal, unless one person dies in a very tragic scene, in which case all those spells and items you have are worthless. (FF7)

You can build up stars by killing people in Grand Theft Auto. Only to be busted and to start all over again with cheat codes to get a automatic all weapons cheat and a tank appear out of no where.

Not exactly. Seems like every time I finish a long GW session I have a beard that wasn't there before and I'm weathered, worn and starving like Robinson Crusoe.

I have also learned through the many years of online gaming that no matter how competant a player might be, the word noob is going to be thrown around more often than not to make the inadequate players feel better about their shortcomings.

Being a T-72 gunner myself, I think I learned a lot from games, atleast I was pretty much only one who had played games actively in the group, and was most accurate gunner with the tank. Joystick power. Also, the stuff learned from FPS's game in handy, prediction when shooting with rocket launchers ingame ^^

If you die in casual combat, you'll be back soon. But should you die in a dramatic cutscene, bam. You're gone forever.

Trash cans and landfills don't exist. Everyone carries their useless, broken items on their person for others to pick up when they die.

You can die numerous times and the only penalty is you die faster next time.
You can carry 45 sledge hammers at all times, and they don't slow you down but if you pick up a book you move s l o w e r.
