Where does one report in-game scum?
You have all experienced it, I am sure. But how did you deal with it?
An example: I am in ToA D2 about to do Villany when this guy comes in to the district and offers an account for sale for 200k. Seems like a deal. I have bought 3 other accounts online for 150k-200k so no biggy. I do the normal thing of half up-front, get the account, change the password, give the other half, except I give him the first half, he spouts off an e-mail address and password and zones. I try pm'ing him because the username doesn't exist and he has me on ignore. I log in to another of my accounts, ask him WTF and he puts that account on ignore. So who should I report ... ] to? ArenaNet? Will they do anything? Will it get me back my 100 plat? Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. If I have posted this in the wrong spot, my apologies. Whoo boy, well...There's quite a few things wrong with this situation.
First, the posting of names on the forums is disallowed by default, so I went ahead and removed the perpetrator's name  Second, I wouldn't even admit to buying an account, even in a support ticket. It's against the rules and will get you banned. Moreover, they won't really care about what happened in this situation. You shouldn't have been buying accounts in the first place. Thirdly, no, we've been through this a few times. No forums for scammer names far too much potential for abuse.
