Anime is mainstream now; watch whatever you please.
You can thank me and fans from my generation for the bounty that is now available.

Don't worry, the Kakashi Gaden should be in about 4 episodes. It will be nice to see some actual story line again, even the manga is getting a little dry.

Um...Where's Akira and the Ghost in the Shell Movies? Also, check out Ninja Scroll and just about anything by Hayao Miyazaki (Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Dilivery Service, etc.).
Edit: Lol. Didn't see post #5.

Anime, whats not to like.
The stuff i have seen is
Fullmetal Alchemist (Bloody good)
Naruto (Fillers should be done ina week or two)
Bleach (Also good)
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (Actually quite good)
Cowboy Bebop (hell yeah)
Neon Genesis Evanglion (the last few episodes can be a bit whacked but overall its good)
Bubblegum crisis 2040 (got me into anime)
Infinite Rivius (sort of like lord of the flies)
Beserk (Im Guts, I kill stuff )
Samurai 7 (only have 8 epis at the moment but it's good)
Samurai Gun (also only have 8 epi's, not as good as samurai 7)
Noir (Assasination, good for passing the time)
Robotech - Macroos saga (SDF-1 FTW)
Chrono Crusade - (Good)
Full metal panic - (Dont know im downloading at the moment)
and for stand alone movies, Miyazaki is the king as said before, his newest is Howl's Moving Castle. Others i have are Escaflowne, Appleseed and Norsicaa.
That should do it for now, however im going to see some gungrave in the near future.

I have begun watching Ergo Proxy. It seems really cool so far. It's from some of the guys who worked on Samurai Champloo.
It feels like a mix between Ghost in the Shell and the 5th element
