i am really looking forward to this game, though it means i would have to either upgrade my computer, or buy an x-box 360, both of which im not to happy on doing, but ill probably do the former(though all of my friends wanna by an x-box 360 to play halo 3 when it comes out, so im still not really sure) either way its gonna be an awesome game.

They don't release demos of their Elder Scrolls games, because it's incredibily hard to make a demo of such a gigantic open game without losing the intent of a demo: to show off your game.

I bought an xbox 360 when they first came out just for this game. I still haven't bought any games for it, although I rented a few. I want Oblivion, Chromehounds, and that air combat game due out this month.

I bought Morrowind for my Xbox when it came out but ended up returning it (only the 2nd game I've ever returned). It wasn't that it was a bad game. Far from it... I just couldn't stand the combat in first-person! It was often easy to lose sight of your opponent especially early on when you're still learning the system because you're so busy flailing away.. Half the time, the strikes from your sword don't even land properly or the enemy will dance behind you while you're fumbling away.

And I'm an RPG veteran, I've played tons of various kinds and never had a problem learning any combat system (whether I liked every one or not is a different matter lol). But this system was a lil too... choppy, for lack of a better word.

I've heard Oblivion is supposed to have smoothed out the combat and made it easier to engage in first-person melee battles. If that's true, it's great because the world and graphics certainly seem terrific. I might pick it up if the final reviews are good. Then again I have enough other games to keep me busy right now

Star Maiden, Elders scrolls beginning is pretty slow unless you tottaly know what to do... plenty of guides to use the loopholes and the glitchs to your advantage...

I still have elder scrolls marrowind III on my PC, I plan to make some crazy videos of epic battles between hundreds of golden saints and golden saint genoside... I love the PC version for the mods and "the console" (you can basicly import any item you know the code to, yeah its cheating but the storyline is so damn boring)

I MIGHT buy Oblivion for PC if they dont water it down, or it isnt too noticable.

I know what to do, Deviance, it's just that I didn't like the combat system and felt it was flawed. No biggie. It made it frustrating for me to want to continue, though, and I did want to explore more of that world. I love huge, epic RPGs.

I'll probably not; admittedly the graphics look great but graphics make not the game. Morrowind was ok but had some fatal flaws, for example being able to see all the monsters in the game in the same few starter places (instead of being region specific)

I loved the original Elder Scrolls ones but it looks like they've gone the route of style over substance, and since this one is slotted for Xbox as well I think it's probably being dumbed down even more (no offence to xbox owners)

had so much fun time at morrowind, creating own superspells, trying to steal from top security room, killing random people at towns, doing own mods, being grandmaster at every guild, doing superweapons, making my pearl collection even biger...

those were gd times... ^^
