Why thank-ya. I'll be back in the gaming saddle as soon as those cards come in. It's almost funny... I got some top of the line crap in this rig, and yet, my temp graphics card costs $20 and is best suited as a drink coaster.

Done with two finals. I get tomorrow off (hopefully going to Disneyland to unwind) and then I got 2 more finals. I'm at the halfway point baby!

It hard to enjoy reading books for school. I like to read on my own terms. When I have to decipher all the plot elements and crap it just loses its fun.

Maybe I'm biased (Agatha's pretty much my favorite author) but once they start dropping dead, I think you'll be hooked.

Why does that sound like Stephan King's "The Stand"? I've never read it, guess it makes me stupid >.< But I DID read Stephan King's The Stand, which not>, but got me so invovled that I would loose sleep as I read on. I'm re-reading the newer version with a new beginning, new ending AND about 500 pages worth of edited out stuff. Very good.

The Stand was a marvelous book. I read it a month or two ago.

...wait, Echo, you're not done with it yet? How long have you had that damn thing?

If any others of you intend to read it DEFINATELY get the complete and uncut version of Stephen King's The Stand, it's definately worth it and I don't see how they could've left any of it out having now read the uncut version. Also if you get a chance rent Stephen King's The Stand miniseries thing, I rented the two DVD version of it the other day and I really liked it. Decently old to have some corny "special effects", but it was still good.

Well, I don't want to give much away, but the alternate title of "And Then There Were None" is "Ten Little Indians". The book is heavily based on the old poem by the same name. The title was changed in later printings (I think) because of some racist overtones. The poem was originally titled "Ten Little N-s". It's been a while since I read this, so I might not be totally correct.

I like Stephen King's movies and TV miniseries more than the books. Maybe I read the wrong ones, but I found them insufferably long and tedius to read.
