Well, whoever it was didn't say anything when I was trying to be nice. So we PWNed them (its a pun because I'm in the guild PWN!).
Look at what I just found - http://www.rit.edu/~smo4215/monty.htm

Why is this at the bottom of the page?
Thanks for the link, d4n!

I was just about to fix that...
I was looking at the Q&A Forum and thought it was incredibly funny that Kha is stomping around there big time. There is something like 9 closed threads on the first page alone... almost all of them are just repeat threads. Apparently people are going for some sort of laziness record or something, I mean, its not THAT hard to use the search function... right?

It's pretty funny to see all those locked threads. I was just there myself. I PM'd a mod and suggested they put the Q&A forum at the bottom of the page. He said he'd pass it on. How many stupid questions wind up there because someone was too lazy to scroll down and read the other forum titles first?

At a point it doesn't matter what you do, stupid people will be stupid no matter what you do. There are stickied posts at the top of the majority of the forums with guidelines, etc. and look how many pointless posts there are regardless of that.
Personally I love it when an admin/mod shut down a thread that deserves it, always makes me smile. It gives some sort of strange validation, especially when a thread that I thought deserved closing gets it... yeah, its weird, but thats okay.

True, there will always be stupidity. I'm an optimist and I like to think we can least curb some of it. I feel the same way about locked threads. I grin evily on the inside when someone gets smacked down. Does that make me a sadist, or just arrogant?
PS - I'm in a snotty mood today, so maybe it's just my desire to see people taken down a notch when I'm in this mood that's coming to the surface today.

Bleh, so bored at work. Everyone's being all busy and productive, tring to make deadlines and I'm browsing the internet for something to amuse me. Normally I'd just go and torment people for cheap laughs, but what really stinks is that I can't even do that when their this busy. Bleh.
Edit: Ahhh, whats this then? More code for me to try and break? Much better.

VENGE!!!!!!! *grabs leg and doesn't let go*
It was sooooo lonely here without you. It was horrible. Even the night crew left. This thread even made it to the second page occasionally. I did my best, but holding it up with a skeleton crew is tough.

On searching, my only complaint is that lately every now and then Guru's servers have been acting up. I'm getting "there was a slight error with the database" pages lately (emphasis mine).
Ah well. Technology.

Yeah ... it's good to be back with the people who won't scream at me for e-mail being down ... that's why I went to Cedar Point for a couple of days ... to be around people who will scream at me because they're on a roller coaster ...
BUT NOW ... I'm back with my peeps ... and there seems to be a Swampgirl attached to my leg ...

Meh ... things were actually pretty crappy for a couple of days there ... I can't think of anything worse than your boss' boss coming and hovering over your desk saying ... 'You know the CEO has asked that you get that mail server working again ... it's really important to him' ...
Well now that HE'S said that the server will get fixed SOOOO much quicker ... sigh ... they were threatening to yank my vacation days (Tuesday and Wednesday) and have me stick around to get the servers up ... nice motivation ... and then I spent the day in the lines at Cedar Point CHECKING my Blackberry ... I felt like such a nerd ... sigh ...
But at least I didn't throw up!!! WOO HOO!!!
