Wow, backward thread reading today was scary.
Damn. Being allergic to chocolate is one of the greatest tragedies in life. Missing out on those endorphins sucks. Catching your loved one being in love with someone else is a close second. But it is truly second. Dunno the circumstances, or if there was any room for misinterpretation, but any way you slice it, I'm sorry for your anguish.
Swampy, do you like chicory coffee? I was curious because I just had a Vietnamese coffee and they used Cafe du Monde, hehehe. Got me thinking about LA and beignets mmmm...

Oh yeah!
Community or Cafe du Monde with chickory is the only coffee worth drinking in my opinion. None of that Starbucks crap for me.

So you umm....repair Depends and them motorized chairs?
At least--hopefully--what you saw was the worst. Then that would technically be a really good first day. that would mean every day after your first would be better

I bought this thing for the pure gimmick value... Wolfgang Puck's self-heating mocha latte.
It comes in an insulated can which you turn upside down, activate a chemical process, turn right-side up, and wait 6 minutes or so... shake 5 seconds and there you have it. How was it? Well... it was warm. Okay, it was alright, but certainly not the best mocha latte I've had (I know, I'm a snob about that sort of thing).
Anyway, for 3USD it was entertainment for 20 minutes as we examined the canister and read the instructions and poked fun at it etc.

Self.. heating.. latte? I think I'd be a too worried about what they put in that thing to want to drink it.

Nah, that was the cool thing. The chemicals were between the walls of the canister.

well, being in love and being en flagrante delicto, so to speak, will likely result in the same anguish for you, and I'm sorry. Again, don't know the circumstances nor the lady, but I wish you the best with that.
Coffee doesn't solve as many of life's problems (or ease them) as does chocolate, but I had a coffee with a shot of Bailey's and a shot of cinnamon Schnapps in it the other night... boy, did it ease the chill of a rainy evening. I heartily recommend it!

Why choose when you can have both? Mochas are good, but my favorite is just a regular cup with a packet of instant cocoa mixed in. Addictive... VERY addictive.
