If you are saying that you were laid off (and not the main artist), than I'm really sorry to hear it. I've been there myself and it's not a good place to be - at first. On the otherhand, you have to look forward and see if there is something more important/fun/interesting for you in the long run. Maybe move out here early and get settled in a new home? Let me know if I can help... even if it's only virtual shoulders.

Yes I guess in all my rage I forgot to actually say it was me who was laid off. And you're right, there is a much better job for me out there. Where I worked at was crap. You think if I posted their IP addy one of you can do something...destructive? :P (I knew I should have copied it when I had the chance.)
I'm trying to see if I can do something about the situation, either find a new job here or one in California...but right now, I have no idea what is going to happen.
I probably will be on AIM more, so I can chat with you guys. We'll see :P

That sucks! Come to florida and i'll get you a job with me. Although you will have a bunch of early-20's guys drooling over you for the entire workday.
And you better IM me sometime online, you were AFK last time I messaged you.

Typical!
First thing is was too hot and sunny, then all of a sudden, the Internet went AWOL and a huge Thunderstorm happened all over Northern England and all of Wales!
But nevermind! It's hot and I'M 19 TODAY!!! *breakdances badly* I'm surprised, because all I do is cause sorrow by telling the truth and... I'm... Still alive?? Something's wrong with this planet...

Ah that sucks, Arbel You are not alone in job-hunting though. I hope you find something again soon.
Can I just take the time to say I hate my cable internet provider? I mean I'm really upset with them. Our service has been dropping every 10 or 15 minutes all weekend. It stays out just long enough for the modem to reboot and kick me out of game. Of course, it can't be their problem. No, it MUST be ours because the ISP is never wrong, nevermind the fact this is the third time in as many years that this happened. But "we'll send a tech out" just to make you stop calling us. (You know that's what they really want to say.) I could be doing the Villiany of Gorath, but NOooooo, I'm running around hunting Charr to help my husband's mesmer shop for linen. I'm SHOPPING! Ugh!

Bel, I'm sure we're all rooting for you ... I know I've been in that situation and it sucks ... but ... just to put the Mister Rogers Blue Sweater on for a second ... it can only get better, right?
Now Swampy ... I have to ask ... what is the IN fashion for Mesmers this season? Are the vertical stripes back in? Sometimes when you just don't have enough time to cast an Illusion on yourself you need a little help in covering some of your 'seared' areas ...
So that's why I ask about the stripes ... slimming ... and they can help cover up some of those nasty Charr scars ... FABULOUS!!!!

The current fashion is courtly armor. He/she* looks great in it too (has the coat). It's fitting and he/she* likes the cleavage. Makes me want to re-roll a mesmer so I can look like that. I was able to get my new set of gladiator's armor. I kinda miss my ringmail. The gladiator's, although much better for my character build, does nothing for the "cheerleader" image I was going for.
*When talking about my husband's female toon, should I say he or she? I get so confused.

Thank you all, I know that it will only get better for me, and then I would have made a big deal out of it for nothing. I only have enough money for one more month so I hope I can find one before then. I've also considered applying for unemployment benefits. Does anyone really know what's that about?

Yeah they give you a percantage based on your last years total wages then they figure out a bi-weekly or monthly payment and it's for a fixed period of time.
May very from state to state
