The *average* game player is 30 year old
Forty-three percent of all game players are women. Women over the age of 18 represent a greater portion of the game-playing population (28 percent) than boys from ages 6 to 17 (21 percent).
---aren't you *guys* suprised?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So stop generalizing stupidity! It can be found in all ages and both genders of the human species.

Hmm I started a female ranger once, just for the hell of it.
20 minutes into the game, still in pre-searing, this dude comes up to me and asks me if I'm a girl.
Due to sheer boredom, I replied yeah.
He then proceeds to ask me if I could follow him outside and dance for him.
I replied that I'm 15 (which I'm not)(in case he was a paedophile, a good way to hit him) and to sniff out his age.
His replied that he was 15 and a half (don't know if its true).
There you go.
A male monk now takes the place of my female ranger cos I didn't find it much fun and I don't want to be bothered by all the whispers I might receive later on.
Seriously, what the hell is so fun about hitting on people online?
Maybe you should try http://www.ineedadatedesperatelycosi...thm ylife.com instead of doing it in-game.
Even if you're just bored, strike up a conversation about anything, not asking female toons to go out and give you a private dance.
Just like all the dumbass warriors that dance behind female eles.
And the ones that kneel directly in front of you, implying sexual acts.
Jeez...

The average gamer maybe 30 years old, but from simply hearing all of the voices over teamspeak/ventrillo, this certainly doesn't apply to Guild Wars.

you said it. i'm 16 and i just talk to people in game like i would to any respectable human being. i dont consider myself "1337" by any means. now if some 12 year old, or any other age for that matter, gets all up in my grill like "zOMGZ0rz I am TEH 1337 pwnz0r h4xorz!!!!!oneone111shifteleven1111!!!!" i might tell him something....other than that im pretty easy going and can follow orders.

We have a 12 year old in our Guild thats pretty cool. We joke with him a little that he's our Guild Mascot. Not to be mean to him really, its just that most of the players in our guild range from the ages of 30-50, so he's kinda like an adopted child for us. As long as a person is polite to others and tries to help out others in the Guild, then age is really not a factor. The only thing thats difficult with him at times is that he lacks patients, but that comes with age.

11-14 year olds are ruining ALL games. The ones that say they are 17, but yet they are still acting immature, they lie about their age.
THERE ARE A FEW EXCEPTIONS!
The 8-10 year olds are ok though, its kinda cute when they type too. They havent hit the age of immaturity yet.
In 5th-6th-7th and 8th grade kids are facing the freedom of adolesence(SP?) but they do not take the responsibility. But when they hit 9th grade, they shut up because suddenly they are the ones getting stripped and thrown into trash cans.

So long as people on teamspeak keep thinking I'm a 50 year old drunken PC-addict I'll be alright with whatever people feel like saying towards others...for the most part.

The only place I've found the "133t p30p13" was in the Ascalon Arena.
Anyway, for the people who say things like "OMG Not all _______ are like that!" It should be obvious that prejudiced comments are almost never directed at ALL of a certain group.

These kids not only cuss like mad, they constantly whine and complain about things while playing Halo 2. I'm not saying i hate 12 year old kids, cuz i used to be 12but damn, they just act like crazy people from time to time.

problems with 12 year olds on XBox live? simple solution: tell them you love them. easy.
they will avoid you.
(and on topic. i am 16. i'm am thy lord and creator. you WILL do as i say. if you do not then your eyeballs will be ripped out by gibbons and eaten by many Gwens. if i am not present then the badger is thy god. if the badger is with me then chickens are thy god. if i happen to have eaten the chicken then Balooga whales are thy god. i hope you get the idea. i am NOT immature. i simply like a bit of humour in my games. no one has ever complained about it. they are more than welcome to.)

There are a lot of annoying pre-teens, there are a lot of mature pre-teens. Who cares. If they annoy you avoid them. We were ALL like this at one point in our life, we all typed using abbreviated forms of 3 letter words.

Most of the people who cause problems in the game are 20 somethings that never grew up. They either hate their life, live with their parents, or manage your local Dairy Queen.
