Just wondering have you guys checked out the cars from the Geneva Show.
A special highlight http://www.seriouswheels.com/top-200...lago-LP640.htm
(The Germans rock at making cars!!!)
Looks like its getting the same engine as the Miura from the Detroit show cept it looks like this ones slower by 0.1 secs.

No haven't seen that show.
Yes that is a nice Lamborghini....640 HP. Very sharp. Just one thing...it is built by the Italians...not the Germans.

My wife had a miraculous Geo for a while...that kept going until after the 300k mark with NO major repairs whatsoever. Unfortunately, I think that feat of engineering was the exception to the rule as far as domestics go. Of course, I have experience with the other end of the domestic spectrum - the Fiero. Heck of a fun car to drive, but was in the shop at least once a month.
Now, I'm a Toyota fan. My last ride was a '90 Tercel. I drove it until rust started to eat through the body panels, and then I bought an '04 Corolla. There's something to be said about peace of mind and not having to constantly worry about the "next thing" to go wrong...

Say Swehurn...that Geo is a Corolla by the way. That is why it was so dependable. GM really had nothing to do with it. My Sister had a Tercel and loved it too. Gm,Ford, Chrysler can build the bigger cars fine...it is the small ones they have trouble with.
I so look forward to getting this new Corolla LE soon. I am tired of seeing gas prices swing 40 cents in 8 hours. At least I can drop my fill ups to 2 days a week instead of every other day like I am with my older 94 Lesabre.

So far i have only gotten 75k out of my Olds. Its broken down ummmmmm countless times but its a great drive. I just need to remember to fill up my tires tonight at some point. They are getting slightly low. At this rate the thing will be lucky to have 100k on it before it decides to die....

Roush Custom Mustangs
I just watched a exciting show on Discovery-HD television on Roush Racing.
Jack Roush for years has customized Mustangs. Here is his website.
http://www.roushperf.com/
They are drop dead gogeous!!! Read on how they take a stock Ford Mustang and tweak it.
EDIT: They also tweak out a Ford F-150 Truck and a Ford Focus!

I have seen that one, that is a great show. Mustangs are great looking cars, and when they tweaked it. Wow, it was amazing. They dont get the greatest gas mileage in the world which is a huge turnoff for me...

As of Saturday night I am minus one passenger side mirror. The street I was parked on in New Brunswick (NJ, yes) was picked for "Super Happy Fun Mirror Smashy Time" and 5 or 6 cars all got hit.
I already ordered a new mirror for $30 + shipping, and I should be able to reaplce it myself. Still, it's kind of annoying. Anybody replaced their own mirrors before?

Nope havent replaced one myself but i have gotten one torn off by a tree before. Course it wasnt my fault since my sister was teh one who drove it down the ravine. It was one of those nice mirros that was electric and all that fun stuff. Didnt have to get a new one since the car was declared totaled by the insurance company. It shouldnt be too hard as long as it isnt one of those electric ones. but i could be wrong.
