IMO, the DBH is by far the best storyline in the game. I loved every mission, and the rewards rocked.

I had a lot of trouble with that mission the first few times I tried. Then I found the easiest way to do it....
**SPOILERS**
Just talk to her and tell her what you did to her sweet mother.

After I tried killing her in many different ways, and always ending up getting swarmed by guards, I talked to her in the inn or whatever it is she rests in. One of the dialogue options was something about her mother - also, some of the other targets had similar dialogue options, like that guy that was behind the bar at the roadside inn.
Odd that it doesn't give you the option - the only thing I can think of would be to make sure that that is your active quest, and to try at different times.

Hot damn... how come I haven't seen this thread before??? I'm a total Oblivion addict!
I must agree w/ Lasher, and (at least) half the known Oblivion-playing world in saying Dark Brotherhood... is the most amazing faction... in this game... ever. And... you get the red-eyed horsey! Wooo!!!
One question... does anyone here except me feverishly decorate their house?
[rant]
And... I mean feverishly... I line up everything perfectly... I got 2 tables w/ perfectly aligned Daedrics... a Daedric shield resting on a bench (took me ~20 minutes to line it up perfectly, and a whole lot of Telekenisis)... I've also got 3 hearts resting on shelves - 1 Argonian heart, 1 Human Heart, and 1 Daedric Heart. Then I've got clothes perfectly laying on the shelves... and boots by the side of my bed... and... oh, and I have Legionare armor on my bookcase. And speaking of bookcases, I've got a library I filled with the best looking/attribute books! And notes on by dresser! And there's a bowl with poisoned apples on the dinner table! And the Sanguine Rose on my mantle!
[/rant]
Yeah... it's that important
If anyone's got any questions, me or my fellow guildie will get back to you with an answer in an instant.

PS- Potionmaking ROCKS! Mastery in hours, craploads of useful, expensive potions, millions of gold - who's complaining?

I have to resurrect this thread to tell you guys - if you haven't played around with paralysis in this game, do so. I must have spent 3 hours last night running around paralyzing the shit out of everything and laughing like a madman.

To All!
Ah, nice to see this thread isn't too dead
Love the paralysis - by far my favorite effect... ever. If you can get it to work (e.g. Against things like resistance, ect.), it's damn near a sure kill. Extra damage while they're down, no interruptions (given you aren't swarmed, in which case, you're probably screwed, anyway), and it's just joyfully sadistic.
Another thing I always made sure to do: Save before starting any DBH quest - I've got my little Custom Battle Cast Elf saved before every single mission... nearly. I can play them anytime! Weee!
And, lastly, for those who can get the game running, here's some tweaks I suggest. Some have to do w/ the .ini file, so make sure to back it up. Of course, it reloads whenever you start up the game, so no biggie.
Large Tweak Guide - .Ini Editing, Ingame Editing, Ect.
Oblivion Wiki - Focused on Graphic Tweaks. Generally external mods.
Tamriel Times - Great site w/ Links to specialized Oblivion help - Mods/Tweaks.
Here's just a few - if requested, I can surely come up with more.
And... does anyone else decorate their house feverishly? Anyone?
