selecting a new MMORPG
like some people i have grown tired of guild wars i had alot of fun with it in the 11 and a half months i have been playing but after getting a rank emote, winning hall of heros, beating factions and prophicies, and being a part of getting my guild into the top 200 it seems like i have done everything that i can do in the game i lost intrest in pve a long time ago and am finialy losing intrest in pvp. so my question is what would be a good MMORPG for me? i have played Linneage 2 and Final Fantasy XI as well as guild wars. I hated L2i gave it a chance but after a week the only fun thing to do was PK people, i liked FFXI it was kind of a skill less game to be honest but that also ment that no one was shouting NOOB! and no one was discrimanated aginst. i will pay a monthly fee if the game is worth it. i also dislike sci fi games. i am intrested in WoW but i would also like to kno what else is out there maybe something that is fairly new or coming out soon i dont like being clueless when every one else knos what there doing wich is why i am having trouble selecting WoW or EQ. i kno thats a pretty picky resume but i was trying to be specific lol any help would be appreciated

I've never played it, but you could have a look at EVE Online which is apparently an excellent MMO.

Ragnarok Online... Find a good private server and you wont pay a cent.
Yes private servers are completely free and legal.
Many servers have different rates of leveling up which is fun... Alot are getting many different custom stuff that can be found on the developer forums.
Just google it.

I was currently playing on a server with 10k/10k/10k rates o.o
It got messy.
Some games that you may be interested would be:
World of Warcraft - Honestly, don't listen to half of the Guild Wars fanboys here, it's a good game! Just try to maintain your sanity during the first 20 levels or so. They are full of "KILL 18 SPIDERS!!" quests. After you hit higher levels, options for raids are quite entertaining and PvP might interest you, although it can be based around equipment rather than skills.
Everquest 2 - Evercrack 2? Common name. Never really played it myself, but I've always been interested in that game after watching my friend's brother tear it up. Maybe someone else can help fill you in on this game, I'm no expert
Neverwinter Nights Neverwinter Nights 2 is coming out pretty soon, and that could be a great option for players. The game almost seems like a DnD format game, with "rolls" to determine damage, casting success and failures. Great game, you can create your own maps and settings to mess around with.
There are tons of games out there that are worth purchasing, and with proper research, hopefully you can find a great game to occupy your times!

One game I am personally looking forward to is "The Chronicles of Spellborn". It is being developed by many of the people who worked on the original Everquest, not the crap sequel. The graphics are looking pretty decent, but it promises a vast, content-filled world and a sweet combat system.
They claim to have Open Beta ready by September and possible release by October, but we all know how that can go.
EDIT: oops, almost forgot... Check out Vanguard: Saga of Heroes if Spellborn isn't your cup of tea. It's another game I got my eye on. I will definately get one of these two, so whichever impresses me more, eh.

I'm not gonna play another MMOrpg Or CORPG, untill they have no monthly fees, I don't understand paying for a game, then paying for the privelege of playing it.

I've heard that darkfall is predicted to be good when it comes out. A friend of mine thinks it might even top WoW.

Unfortunately unless you find a great server with people that keep it interesting, RO gets really boring and grindy after a while...
The last server I was on before I made my own, I maxed out one of my characters with all the best stuff for his class, and ended up sitting around not doing much after that. =/ And then I became a GM on the server and that basicly killed all interest in actually playing I ever had... Was a GM until the server basicly died and went under new management which kicked me out as a GM (Stupid F'n Bitch -_-) for the only reason that I was loyal to the previous hoster. And soon after I left the server completely, the server died. I lol'd.
