The male species will never become redundant. It is impossible to have a baby with out the two needed parts. Without one part you can not make a human life. Unless they get an incredible amount of sperm there is no way to keep on making new life if they dont have enough, i dont see test tube babies happening. Unless i am totatly not reading what you wrote correctly. Then in that case oops...

O like stem cell research except trying to duplicate the tadpoles. I still dont see that happening. Unless they can find a way to mass produce the X and Y chromosomes im not seeing it. We dont understand all of human genetics and it would be very dangerous to try to do that. Who knows what could happen.

what would the women benefit from doing that, anyway? being a single parent...i doubt it. Or turning lesbian? no, that would benefit men...but since there wouldn't be any....

Not to mention it would be extremely hard to create a "normal" child out of "them"

Even if you could create enough sperm so that the men will be useless in creating a child, women are still going to give birth to guys. Unless you somehow manage to control the gender of the child too.

im pretty sure people in the future will still prefer the "old fashioned" way of making babies. i mean sex is just naturally one of the most pleasurable things for mammals. humans and animals alike will always have a natural inclination for sexual reproduction.
