I was about to cry that game, i don't blame in on vanderjagt though, peyton manning didnt start playing his game till the end of the 3rd quarter, if they played constantly as well, we could have won, i have to admit steelers deserved the win though

thats cause the steelers through his rythm off by blitizing constantly. in the 2nd half they stopped blitzing as much which let him get into a rythm. once they started blitizing again it threw manning off. credit the steelers defense for causing confusion for manning and the colts.

thats what its looking like. if foster had stayed healthy i would of given that game to the panthers but now that hes out and im pretty sure alexander will be back its gonna be the seahawks. and if the steelers pound the ball at the broncs d and blitz them like they did manning then taht will be correct.

Nick goings is his back up and he's quite good. steve smith is still a great weapon vs them I would not count them out just yet...
No one gave the steelers a chance well I did and a few others but like everyone else said oh the colts will kill them
dont be shocked if the panthers go in and knock out the number one seed in the NFC
the steelers did it to the AFC number one seed.........
this is the playoffs nothing is sure and its all up in the air.

the Colts loss was just another case of Tony Dungy being outcoached.

they went over that on NFL live. they did decide that that wasnt the fact. the Steelers blitzed and frustrated the Colts PLAYERS!! Dungy called the correct calls but unless u have calm players the plays wont get u anywhere. so it wasnt Dungys fault he couldnt be out there to play and execute the plays for his players. his players have to execute, so if his players dont execute it makes him look bad. besides manning is the best player at reading the defenses and audibleing. so really wanst manning out coached? most of the time he audibles the play at the line of scrimmage. so u cant blame it on dungy getting outcoached. the steelers just wanted it more and executed better. o and Big Ben saved the game for the Steelers when he tackled the colts player returnign bettis fumble. had he missed the colts player would of been gone.
also Goings is not as good as foster. ya hes good but hes defiently not fosters calibur. and w/ smith the panthers only really deep threat i just think that the Seahawks D wil shut him down. im just feeling Seahawks on this game.

hmm everyone forgets this has happened to Dungy every year in the playoffs. Why is it his teams can't win in the playoffs? How does TB win a Super Bowl a year after Dungy leaves...with pretty much the same roster??

Althought Manning is a better QB, Jake Plummer does better under pressure from what I've seen, not that it will change the outcome of the game. These last two games are hard to call because of the momentum that the road teams have acquired and their playoff history. But for what it's worth...
Seahawks vs Broncos
Btw 49'ers got ex-Raiders coach Norv Turner as offensive coordinator, hopefully he can get the offense going again in SF

my picks for the NFC and AFC championship games:
Steelers at Denver= Steelers
Panthers at Seahawks= Panthers
the seahawks are overated
denvers jake plummer is gonna mess up somehow and so the steelers will win this.

and your eagles aren't?
We lead the NFL in sacks, we have the best rated O-line, we have an MVP running back (deserved it or not), we have a pro bowl QB who won the conference playoffs without a star running back

yea vs redskins...... an easy team.
the eagles are sometimes overrated but not always it all depends on the players and all
the seahawks beat the easy redskins. we will see if they can beat the true test of the panthers if they beat the panthers I will say the seahawks are not overrated if not ive proved my point cya sunday.

im thinking the panters might pull this out but it depends on if they go somewhere with there running game and if the seahawks can contain steve smith. for some reason im feeling panthers on this one though.. panthers vs. steelers in the Super Bowl

Have to say I think the NFC game is a toss-up. But I am going to side with Carolina on this one for two reasons, Holmgren and playoff experience.
In the AFC, Denver didn't show anybody anything last week while Pittsburgh did the last two weeks. I have to go with the Steelers.
On a side note it actually is going to snow, but Monday not Sunday in Foxborough. Would have been funny if it did snow Sunday. At least I would get a half point for a correct weather guess
