Because Calculus is an assload easier than Physics. You don't only need to plug in numbers for physics (which is all that calculus is pretty much), you also have to think about the careful wording in each question that is presented to you.
And how can you be failing physics? It's not that bad.

I took Physics last year and I just dislike that course I do say myself since it's required that you do a science fair project too which I hate to do very much.

I've never ever seen nor have I ever heard of a Science Fair with my school associated with it.
I liked physics, especially the labs.

Don't worry about it, I spent most of my school life being kicked out of class/school and I'm doing alright for myself 6 years on.
Despite what your teacher tells you many things you learn in school you will rarely use in the big wide world.

According to my teacher, the majority of things you learn in school are completely useless, pending on the job you end up with.

You're better off learning things that fall outside your work load, I can assure you.

Especially high school, because the actual purpose of high school is teaching you the basic to get into college. Once you get into college, that's when useful stuffs come. (which is what high school is designed to be)
If one is planning to get into college and have a easier time, paying attention in high school will be important.
These teachers need to start telling their student, "It is useful to get into college, which is what you need for a decent job" instead of "it is useless".
Of course, there are other roads like vocational school. (did I remember that right?)

How to know which science experiment is going on:
if it stinks - it's biology
if it blows-up it's chemistry
if it doesn't work, it's physics LOL

I despise Chemistry, I have a project to do on it right now. I despise chemistry.
I want to do Physics, because I need 3 science credits and the last one is the only one we can choose.
