WoW is a black hole. stay far, far away.
P.S. the races in WoW are mostly for flavor only. Racial bonuses are statistically significant but largely unimportant. Race also determines classes available to you, but once again, this is mostly unimportant. IMO, the biggest factor races bring into play is an unintended one: gnomes are so small they can hide in the scenery in PvP, while Taurens are so huge they are easy to see and click on.

after i got tired of guild wars i started playing WoW, the blood elf really isnt over powered like penny arcade says, and the enchanting bonus is useless once u hit level 60, and not that big of a deal the resistinces they get ime sure are very small the undead only get +5 shadow resistance so i would image it wouldnt be higher than that as far as the racial abiality they recieve i dont know to much about it, all classes get racial abialites and a few other bonuses (the comic told all of the blood elfs but only one of the orc and undead's) but if the blood elf was overpowered trust me they would nerf it.
and by the way in WoW a Profession is just a trade enchanting, alchemy, blacksmithing ect it isnt a class and it doese not affect your skills in any way its just the way people make gear potions ect (some ppl were getting this confused)
you guys really shouldnt flame somthing you dont know anything about, if you have the time i would defenitly play WoW over guild wars the PvE is ten times better (not exagerating at all) i do admit the guild wars PvP is much better.

So you're flaming Guild Wars right after you tell people not to flame.
Anyways, it's all a matter of opinion as to which PvE is better. There are definitely quite a few things about PvE that I think Guild Wars does better, but it's more important to realize that they are distinctly different types of games. WoW is built to be a deep MMORPG. Guild Wars is built to be a tactical MMOG without very much of the RP content. The fact that WoW's PvP is so uninspired while Guild Wars' PvP is so deep further illustrates this.

All Ravex is saying is that WoW pve is significantly more in depth than it is in GW. As a casual player GW is a much more balanced game, the level 20 level cap is attainable quickly and you can find yourself on a level playing field for pve and pvp much more quickly. WoW is significantly more time consuming, and the massive boosts given by 'Legendary' armour and weaponary mean that you could play the game for six months solid building up a character and still get [email protected] by someone else without them trying too hard if they had significantly superior equipment.
Guildwars is a fun and balanced game, the PvE tbh hasnt been as involved as WoW in the past but the new expansions mean that people aren't getting bored of PvE anymore. And of course guild wars leaves you time to retain something resembling a life
