RPG's are my favorite genre of video games and I started with dragon warrior 1and final fantasy 1 back in the day. I'm curious to find out if anyone has played FFXII yet and what their impression of it is. I'd like to know where it ranks in the FF family. I own Final Fantasy I, II, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2 and love all of them. My favorite is IX with X a close second.

So yeah...for those out there who have played XII, how would you rank it overall and is it worth getting? I've read numerous reviews of it and it sounds like an awesome game.

I've played FFX, FFX-2 and FFXII.

About FFXII, get this game and your life will be fufilled. Serirously though FFXII is an amazing game. It is definatly worth your money. Its a very looong game so you better be prepared to use alot of your life

12 made me sad. I couldn't get into it, and it pretty much seems NOTHING like Final Fantasy to me. I love the old school turn-base that was traditional FF, and now that they've gone with this it seems like a good RPG, just not a true FF.

yup old school FF fan right here. VII is one of the best games on any system ever. X-2 is a travesty.
