Freshman in High School. I plan to do something in either Business, Law, or Web/Graphic Design (or some other computer related thing). 3 COMPLETELY different subjects. I need some suggestions on some of them actually =)
It's good to see so many older (older meaning above 30) players.

I have 3 businesses. I love it when high school kids start preaching at me about economics..what they don't know is that I'm a multimillionaire and half the things they teach you in these "classes" is utter shit.

High School Kids are often like that. It's like the great Carlos Mencia joke - "When ANY man gets out of the ninja movie they just saw, they are all thinking, 'I wish somebody would mess wit me right now.'" They probably know very little as a whole, but they learned about 300x what they already knew =)
I don't know single thing about economics. I know that when gas goes up, I drive less =) That's about it. I do need to learn more for sure.

Yes I seem to have noticed a trend here that I shall now attempt to explain in the easiest words I see fit. So here goes nothing, please bear with me as english is only my first language. It appears that the trend here seems to be most players are students. Wether it be a college student or a high school student, the matter is they are still a student. Not often do you see someone come here and say that they are 45 white male looking for a young monk to help him with his life mission to beat the great game of Guild Wars. Normally it is students like you and me who have nothing better to do after they have finished their studies and are bored senseless from the boringness of home or the dorm. So instead of hanging out with friends or watching TV they decide to go to Guild Wars and drain their brain. When asked "Why do you play that stupid game instead of studying to get good grades and actually learn something?" they reply swiftly with, "Guild Wars has taught me how to type". It seems that a chicken with any sense can teach you how to type. Yet their it is, the comeback that is used. Guild Wars has taught me how to type better. Bull. You have taught yourself how to type because you needed to to keep up with the spam of the other people on Guild Wars. The first time you went to Lion's Arch you nearly pissed your pants because people were spamming WTS Max Dmg Fiery Dragon Sword! 50k! so freaking fast. So you adapted to type faster so that you can keep up with their greatness. Then one day you discovered the copy, paste commands worked and their you were happily spamming away in LA with all the other copy and pasters. So therefore you have learned nothing but other then to adapt. So there goes your excuse that it has taught you to type faster. So now what? Now you use but it has taught me to multitask. So now you can chat with your guild and alliance buddies WHILE fighting in the Hall of Heroes. Good for you, you can play and type at the same time, but what have you LEARNED from that? Nothing. We are students, Guild Wars has taught us nothing so why don't we go back to our studies to learn things that may actually help us in the real world? Could this possibly be because we know we will never need to know the derivative of 2xsin4x+x^2? Possibly it is, as no one needs to know that except maybe engineers and even them use calculators, so why should we have to figure it out using just our brains? And when will I ever need to know what a mole is? Its an animal that lives underground and tears up your yard. That or its a ugly brown spot on your body. So what? It's actually a unit of measurement? No shit? Where did you learn that? School you say? That place that I go to play Guild Wars? I can learn stuff there? Well shit, what am I doing playing Guild Wars during it? O thats right I KNOW everything. Yes you know everything don't you? Or so you think you do. We are young, ignorant students who do not like to admit we are wrong. Admit it people we are all wrong at some point in our life! GET OVER IT! So who plays Guild Wars? Us students. Why do we play Guild Wars? To get smarter of course.
