4: the only flames i see are the ones your making.. You classified others in your post.. and i classified you...then followed it up with some advice on how to fix that if you dont like to be stereotyped.. How is that a flame? once again the only one flaming here is you.

No sir, you are the troll here. Everyone here with the exception of you and one other idiot found this thread funny, but you went out of your way to tell the OP to grow up and flame him.

You don't have to find it funny but if you're insulted by the satire in here you're way way too sensitive, and you probably fit one of the personalities being made fun of, that's why you're so worked up about all this.

Maybe you should see the link at the top of his post and realize he just copy+pasted it here? Sorry, but you are acting like a troll, you flame the op because he posted something from wired magazine and then expect everyone to jump beside you in arms. His "oh by the way this is a joke" shouldn't even need to be in his post, its a sarcastic view on forum personalities. Stop taking things so seriously on the internet.

I don't see how your post is valid at all, its a flame directed at the op, even if it is thinly veiled in a "classification".

I took the OP for the fun it was meant to contain, but i can see why people found it offensive (While they shouldnt take it out on the OP)

Ive just noticed a trend the later years where MMO communities have been particulary arrogant and narrow minded when talking about players of other online games
Like this particular squad of people when i played ryzom, every time someone asked for a feature to the game (that they didnt agree with) or whined one of these guys would chime in with "maybe you should go back to WoW, with all the other kids *smirk*"
