What MMORPGs Are You Waiting For?
I Love guild wars. There are only 2 other online games I've played nearly as much and thats Diablo 2 and Neverwinter Nights. I am still excited about a few other games coming out and those are Aion and Tabula Rasa. I think they are both pay to play though so theres a good chance Ill have to boycott.

I took a look at it. It reminds me of Legends of Might and Magic. It was almost an exact copy of counterstrike but with spells and swords. This doesn't seem to be what fury will be, but the use of the unreal 3 engine is what made me think of it. This could very well beat out gw pvp if they don't screw up on loot and equipment. The graphics don't look all that difficult to run but the estimated system requirements are still rather steep which just proves to what extent the unreal 3 engine is taking its next-gen multithreaded games. (games that are designed for multiple cores basically)

Aion: Tower of Eternity looks promising, but I think that'll be a ways off cuz all I can find on it is that little tiny page on PlayNC's site

Yea I hope eye of the north is indeed pve based. That'd be a nice change....
I've read that Aion is a Korean game. Does this mean the player base will be primarily Korean? I don't have any problem with Korean people or anything, but I can imgaine it'd be about as much for me fun as playing in the international districts of GW. I'm aslo waiting for Hellgate London, but I haven't really kept up with it. I've just seen the screenshots and I happen to obsessed with the theme. |
