The Craziest Illusion Ever!!
Go to this page right here: http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com...lbum=31&pos=59 Yes, it is a alien/ gov't conspiracy site, but this illusion is so unreal!!
At first, you will swear on your mother's eyes that the color of the two squares are different. Please do not swear on your mother's eyes, for you are wrong! Pull up MS Paint or some other photo editing program. There are two ways that you can go about reducing yourself to baffled tears of confusion:
The first way is simple. Just draw two boxes or circles. Then, extract the color of both labeled squares, and fill in both drawings. They are the same color. Please don't hurt yourself when you jump back.
The second way is longer but more freaky. Erase every thing in the picture except the two spaces. Same color.
No, the crazy-people site did not take control of your computer. Something about human perception does not allow us to view both squares as the same color. Please retrieve your eyes from the floor and pass this on!

i've seen it before, it makes the one square look darker because it's surrounded by lighter ones and makes the other square look lighter because its surrounded by darker ones. i had no idea that this illusion was created by aliens though...

The dragon wasnt crazier at all. It was merely lack of seeing the additional dimension.
For the OP's illusion, you feel dumb after proving the colors the same.

lmao, same here
As for the first illusion, that one failed to get me.
If you look at this part of the image:
you can see that those two sections are in fact the same shade.

the trick is that the b square is in a "shadow" so your brain is telling you that it is darker, when we can all see now that it isn't.
