Wendy's Manager Shot Over Chili Sauce
Quote:
MIAMI - A Wendy's manager was shot several times in the arm early Tuesday trying to protect the restaurant's chili sauce, authorities said.
A man in the drive-through argued with an employee because he wanted more of the condiment, police said. The worker told the customer that restaurant policy prohibited a customer from getting more than three packets.
The man insisted on 10, reports said. The employee complied, but police said the customer wanted more.
When the manager came out to speak to the man, the customer shot the manager, Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Mary Walters said. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The shooter fled with a female passenger.
"I did not know I got shot," store manager Renal Frage told WTVJ-TV in Miami. "When I went back to the office, I saw blood pumping out of my arm, and I was shocked. I was checking myself out and couldn't believe I got shot over some chili sauce."
Frage added: "I got shot over chili sauce. I was trying to figure while in the hospital why someone would shoot me over some chili sauce."

Remember, if someone wants extra chili sauce, give it to them.

Shooting someone over this is crazy. Sending the manager out because a customer wants more chili sauce WTF!! someone wanting that much sauce probably comes by once in ten years so who f*****g cares? That manager did not deserve to get shot. I hope he's not such a jobsworth in the future though.

People must be really bored to shoot people over something like that. Either way, great new battle scars.

I worked at a restaurant for 5 years, left and have never looked back. Recently it was in the news that the owners of the restaurant had been held up while locking up. They were threatened with a gun OVER A BAG OF STALE BREAD ROLLS.
When the perpetrator's realized what was in the bag one of them accidentally shot his accomplice.
People are just generally quite stupid...

ok, i dont get the shooting part. did the manager think that the bullet missed him? did he not hear, feel, or see it at all? did it ever happen at all? still, sounds like the customer had a bad day at the office.

Maybe the guy needed to refill his jar of chili sauce at home and you know 10 packets is not going to cut it.

It didn't say what type of gun it was or how he got shot, who knows he could of used a silencer or whatever.
Also, you got to remember if he was the manager and all, its noisy and alot of stuff is going on in there.

Yes and if the Wendi's manager had a gun I'm sure the customer would have asked for chili sauce in a friendly tone and said "have a nice day" when refused.
Guns don't kill people .... people kill people .... Its a fact an armed public in a public workplace is a safer public ...
You should see the movie Michael and Me
http://www.larryelder.com/michaelandme.html
It debunks the myths of disarming the public in these united States of America. An armed public is a safe public.
