You do know that NCsoft owns ArenaNet 100%, right?
Besides, they're entirely different games. I think the biggest thing they have in common is being NCsoft titles .

Aion is old news. Progress seems to be at a halt tho, the website for it has been the same for quite a while now. The game looks like it has a lot of eye candy in it, but who knows if it will turn out to be decent or not.

It's like a ripoff of WoW with only three professions and really dull gameplay that makes you wonder why they even created it to begin with. Unless you want to waste your money (dunno why you would want to) just forget about this game. There's a pretty good reason why you and other people haven't heard of these titles. lol

No money would be wasted as , as you already stated, Dungeon Runners is FtP with an item shop.
As for Aion, the flight is for all characters from both factions (Angels & Demons) which will provide some great aerial PvP . The usual RPG classes are in there such as warrior, mage etc. I think the CB is starting soon. Theres a great forum at aionsource.com check it out (sorry for the "product placement" )
Lastly, another NC game that looks to be good is Tabula Rasa.

Thanks for the info, warren!
Of course, I didn't mention Tabula Rasa because you have to be in a cave not to here about it. Hell, Games for Windows even gave Richard Garriott a monthly column to pimp Tabula Rosa (under the guise of a "MMORPG monthly column).
(I think it was Games for Windows). On a side note, I'm getting a little sick of Richard Garriott. He seems a little full of himself.
