WoW Gold Seller Tries Way Too Hard
Ok, I know this is WoW related, but it actually impressed me in a weird and twisted sort of way.
According to the following article, someone went to extraodinary lengths to advertise their gold selling site.
http://www.www.wowinsider.com/2007/0...-way-too-hard/
I wonder how long before someone tries something similar in Guild Wars, although I can't think of how they could do it in our game.
Certainly looks like a lot of effort for probably a minimum return, but it was rather creative in its own way.

Gah! That's pretty insiduous.
But, hey, you could do something like that in GW:
Make a bunch of level one eles, and put them in a dance line spelling out something... of course, no one would be able to read it unless you were above.
Oh, and no hacking involved either.

Why would anyone do it in Diablo? There can only be 8 in each game, and the only way to do it would be gold. Much easier to just advertise it in Diablo.

KEKEKE:
1. Korean for "hahaha."
"It is how the Koreans laugh while playing StarCraft, before collapsing into a coma for playing 85 hours straight. ^__^"
2. Korean keyboards have a key that generates 'ke'. Someone discovered that this annoys the hell out of westerners, and due to South Korean Starcraft Zergrush skills, it's associated with Koreans online. Usually an expression of humor.
OMG ZERGRUSH kekekekekeke
3. It's what some koreans say in online games, it usually signifies joy, or sometimes its like a warcry. Some people mock koreans with this word too. Can be used with words such as giev or maybe even itam/
"ATTACK THE BASE! KEKEKE!!!"
"You giev itam? KEKEKE! ^_^"
probably allot more definitions, but those were all I could find

They take a picture of something spelling out their website and post it on other websites and forums.
I've seen it done with gold, golem bodies, blood, runes and rare items. Also saw many attempts in games with firewall using hacks that keep them up forever, but they were made of epic fail.

You completely just made my day, i laughed so hard at that........
The effort involved kind of puts the Guild Wars gold sellers to shame. Pick up your game and stop botting and try some crazy marketing ideas! lol
