I was in LA just now before going to sleep where I saw some guy trying to sell white dye for 30k.

I pm'd him to see if he was serious and it seemed he was and he said it was cheap for white dye. I asked if he wanted to buy some dye from me for 10k and I think he misunderstood me because he replied 14k.

I said yeah why not and acted like i didn't know how to play at all. I said i couldn't see him. He asked what district i was in, i said what's that? i finally told him my district then he told me his district and told me he was coming. I decided to switch to that district to let the game go on for longer.

He caught me after 20mins from first replying. I said I only had 1000g and he was shocked. When I told him he should look and see how much the dye trader sells it for, he said "no, they suck." Then "I have to go ty neway."

Sorry I'm not a good story teller, but I had alot of fun doing that...
has anyone else done something like this?

Hmm, seems to me you acted like an annoying jerk. You basically wasted that guy's time. If you're defense is that he was selling way over market value then that's a shabby defense. He's allowed to ask whatever he wants for that dye.

Maybe you need to update your definition of "fun?"

I've had fun experiences with scammers. Just act like you don't know what's going on (even though you do) and then play along, it's funny to see how much time some people will devote to scamming you.
