Default Jack Thompson vs Halo 3?????
Ok. I always thought this guy was a nutbag. I love games with excessive violence and neat stuff like that, but I also agree that this stuff isn't for little kiddies or the immature at heart who wouldn't be able to differentiate between video gaming and the real world. So as much as I hate the guy, he did kinda have some merits with complaining about some of the content in games like Grand Theft Auto (loved it) and Manhunt and Bully...... but cmon, now he's complaining about Halo 3??????

What is he hoping to get out of this? The most he can possibly achieve is to prove that he's either suffering from alzheimers, or he's just an attention seeker, but either way, this kills any remaining credibility he had when he was advocating against indecent video game content. Now even I have to acknowledge it. The guy isn't just crazy, he's also incredibly stupid.

Jack's just Jack. He sues or presses charges against anyone/thing that he doesn't like. It all makes sense when you view the bigger picture of what Jack is.

This is one of those people that you would honestly be happy to see run over by a semi truck. He is just a waste of creation, a waste of oxygen, and a waste of space. Hopefully, he jumps off a bridge after this is dropped and never reaches trial.

Oh btw, I wrote him a fairly mean email a while back. Here is his response quoted for your enjoyment is response to my question.

Me: "Mr. Jack Thompson,

How many years did you attend law school? Have you ever played a video game excluding PacMan, TRON, or any other game in which the pixels are visibly evident? If not, why are you attempting to remove violent video games from the market. The ESRB rates video games in the same mannerisms as the MPA rates movies for release."


Jack Thompson: "went to law school for 31 years, and I finally got my degree on Tuesday. I'm not licensed to practice yet, and I should be getting out of jail soon so that I can practice. thanks for asking."

holy crap people who go to college for 6 years are called Doctors....what does that make him?...besides the obvious which is a dumb ass.

um...its been called humping since i can remember. and iv'e been playing HALO for a long time...in fact i still play HALO PC.
In fact back when CSports.net was around my clan was ranked #1 in Slayer and Top 5 CTF for HALO PC.
