MMA and boxing are different. as you well know I am sure. But Zerg is talking about a actual BOXER. Fists only. Most boxers haven't the slightest idea on how to throw a decent kick. Hockey players are just more resliant when it comes to fighting.

This fight is totally unfair.
Not only is the Hockey Player wearing full gear and armor, with a helmet, stick, and skates, but the boxer just has shorts, gloves, and shoes.
But let's say neither have any equipment.
Boxer totally wins.
Also...
In a bar you probably won't have enough leg room for a full kick.
At least that's what I would think.

There's an Australian ex-Rugby League player who's a boxer.
Anthony Mundine.

Well that wasn't specifed. In that case it goes to the boxer hands down. Hockey players wouldn't be able to keep up in a bare knuckle brawl. I mean boxers if you are not careful will bite your ear off!

I really don't know. It would most likely be a very close fight. Depending on what the boxer and the hockey player do, either can win.

you would heard two things
hockey player being hit
hockey player hitting the floor
yes there tough but i cant even see how anyone could make a logical case for the hockey player winning

Im saying boxer .. not to be too contentious but most good boxers are from fairly rough areas where fighting is a life skill which they practice to get out of said area..

Hockey player, definitely. On account of dirty fighting and overall cunning. Not to mention being lightly armoured, equipped with skates (so on a rink, hockey player gains high speed advantage) and armed with a hockey stick, the weapon of choice for brutal games of ice hockey.
Hockey player also has likely a higher endurance, from playing in an icy cold arena and fighting the other players constantly.

Bar fights usually involve pool cues, smashed bottles etc?
Then hockey player.
Normal brawl, fist vs fist.
Then boxer wins.

It's definitely the hockey player. Hockey players are tough SOB's to begin with but I think they could definitely hold their beer better than a boxer because boxers have to stay in shape to make the desired weight class and would probably therefore be lightweight drinkers.

It has to be the boxer, in a fist fight he would wipe the floor with the hockey player

The boxer would win, no doubt about it.
They knock people out with their gloves ON, with them off...
